Following draws in both of the A-League semi-finals last weekend, the pressure ramps up again here for Auckland FC, Sydney FC, Adelaide United and the Newcastle Jets.

Home advantage will now be given to United and the Jets, by virtue of their superior regular league position but the pressure is very much on the quartet in general.

A place in the A-League grand final awaits and with so much on the line, this should be another pair of fantastic fixtures.

Sydney FC are well versed in big games like this and know how to get results, so shouldn’t be discarded flippantly. That said, it does feel as if the Newcastle Jets have been working towards this all season and they look ready to take their chance and reach the A-League grand final.
