A-League Round 25 Tips Expert & Predictions

Tension continues to blight the top sides in the A-League table, with only two of the top six managing a week last weekend and this feels like another significant round of games.

Newcastle Jets hold a three point gap to Auckland FC below them and with neither managing a win last time out, hope remains for most sides in behind them.

Melbourne City look to have a stronger hold on a top six spot than they have all season and they along with Melbourne Victory, Sydney FC and Adelaide United are on course for playoff football.

Down at the bottom, Western Sydney Wanderers continue to struggle and are now adrift of Brisbane Roar and Perth Glory, with time running out to save their season.

Victory are ticking along pretty well, without pulling up too many trees and there is a feeling they are getting themselves ready for their playoff push. The same could be said of the Newcastle Jets, who are a side sitting pretty at the top of the table, but the chasing pack are beginning to close in. This could be a cagey one, with both sides probably eager to not lose as a priority.
