Adelaide vs. Geelong Predictions – AFL Round 13 2026

We have Adelaide vs. Geelong predictions for AFL Round 13 on Thursday, June 4 at 7:30pm at the Adelaide Oval.

Kicking off the week is a blockbuster between Adelaide and Geelong, where Geelong is a –8.5 favourite on the road.

Best Bet

Geelong –8.5 @ $1.90

Geelong was stunned by Carlton last week, and although most of the early money has come for Adelaide at home, we have the Cats bouncing back with a big performance.

We typically bet on Adelaide at home, but we can’t see Geelong losing back-to-back games after looking strong for most of the year. They showed their premiership ambitions when beating Collingwood, Brisbane, and Sydney, with the win over Sydney shaping up as the best form guide.

Adelaide had won three on the bounce before losing to Hawthorn in Round 11, and although they should be ready to fire after a bye, Geelong will want to bounce back quickly. We have them winning and covering the –8.5 spread to kick things off this week.

Same Game Multi

Geelong –8.5, Jeremy Cameron 3+ Goals, Shannon Neale 2+ Goals, Total Points Over 165.5 @ $8.50

Jeremy Cameron comes off three consecutive big games, having scored 10 goals from his last three games. He kicked four goals in a losing effort against Carlton, and the $1.87 odds for 3+ goals against Adelaide is generous.

Shannon Neale hasn’t kicked a goal in his last two games, but he doesn’t often go three games without success. His form earlier this season was excellent, and Geelong could do with him kicking well. Punters get $2.15 for 2+ goals, which is better than expected.

The total points line of 165.5 is lower than we projected. They combined with 219 points in their most recent meeting at the Adelaide Oval, so that should be the best form guide.

Best Value Bet

Shannon Neale First Goal Scorer @ $12.00

The best way for Neale to get his confidence back is by kicking the first goal, and the $12 odds are too good to pass up.

He is an important player for Geelong, and although Cameron and Oliver Henry have kicked well, they could do with Neale coming to the party.

He should get an early opportunity, and we’re happy with the odds available with bookmakers.
