Backing Adelaide at home is one of our favourite bets, and although Hawthorn is a quality team, the Crows are playing better footy.
They are riding a lengthy winning streak following a win over Port Adelaide 133-35, and they couldn’t have been more dominant. It was one of their best wins of the year, so they should have enough confidence to beat Hawthorn by 13.5 points.
They met earlier this year when Hawthorn won by three points, but they’re good enough to turn the tables in a big way. Playing at Adelaide Oval is a massive advantage, and we see Adelaide winning comfortably on Friday night.

Same Game Multi
They scored only 91 points when meeting in June, but it should be a much higher scoring contest this time around. Their offences have picked up impressively, and prior to their earlier meeting, it was typically a high-scoring series.
Goals could come from Riley Thilthorpe and Taylor Walker. Thilthorpe has 11 goals from his last three games, and although punters don’t get massive odds for him to score 2+ goals, he’s worth including to boost AFL same game multi odds.
Walker is a $2.20 chance to score twice, which is an excellent bet. He has scored at least two goals in each his last five games, so we’re banking on that streak continuing against Hawthorn.

It could be a statement win for Adelaide, so we’re taking the value $3.90 odds for the Crows to win by 40+ points.
After beating Essendon by 98 points, there is plenty of scoring ability with this team, and Hawthorn doesn’t always play well on the road.
