Adelaide vs. Hawthorn Predictions - AFL Semifinals 2025Ended

We have Adelaide vs. Hawthorn predictions for AFL semifinal action on Friday September 12 at 7:40pm at Adelaide Oval.

The Crows won the minor premiership, but they’ll need to play well to avoid getting bungled out in consecutive weeks.

Adelaide vs. Hawthorn Predictions

Best Bet

Adelaide -3.5 @ $1.90

Bet Now

It was a tough watch for Adelaide fans last week when losing Collingwood 79-55, but a bounce back win is on the cards. We respect Hawthorn, but it’s rare to see a team that finished eighth beat the top-seeded team.

The Crows have bounced back from losses well in 2025, and although Collingwood played with more intensity, with their backs against the wall, the Crows should come out with urgency, and the Tigers don’t always match up early.

If the Crows can limit Jack Gunston, they should win the game comfortably. Playing at home is another positive, and there are more positives for Adelaide than Richmond in this situation. Despite losing last week, Adelaide is the better team, and that should be apparent on Friday night.

Take the -3.5 line before money comes for them throughout the week. Adelaide is always well-backed when playing at home.

Same Game Multi

Adelaide -3.5, Taylor Walker 2+ Goals, Luke Pedlar 2+ Goals, Total Match Points Over 165.5 @ $9.50

Bet Now

Taylor Walker is a key player for Adelaide, and we’re backing him to come up big. He had two goals last week in a tight defensive battle, but they shouldn’t be as nervous against Hawthorn.

Walker should get forward and give the Crows a big boost, so the $1.71 odds for a 2+ goal performance is a good price. An even better price is Luke Pedlar at $3.45. He has come up big recently, scoring six goals from his last two games. If Pedlar can keep his form going, Adelaide should play well, and the odds are too juicy to pass up.

We also like over 165.5 points. They combined for 188 points earlier this year, and we don’t see why this game would be much different.

Best Value Bet

Adelaide 40+ @ $5.80

Bet Now

If Hawthorn gets down early, it’s a team that can throw in the towel rather quickly. Therefore, we’re taking the generous odds for Adelaide 40+.

There is plenty of risk, and it won’t be easy for the Crows to put up a massive margin, but considering the $5.80 odds, it’s worth including in AFL finals predictions this week. Adelaide could come out firing and quickly build a big lead.
