Ended The AFL continues this week with Round 19 action, starting with Geelong vs. St Kilda on Thursday night.
We have AFL betting tips for every game in 2026, including this week’s featured games between Sydney vs. Adelaide, Collingwood vs. Carlton, and Gold Coast vs. Western Bulldogs.
Thursday 16/7/26
7:30pm Geelong vs St Kilda @ GMHBA Stadium
Betting Tip: St Kilda +12.5 @ $1.90

St Kilda is playing well enough to stick with Geelong, and there has been some respect for them in betting markets.
They come off a solid win over Port Adelaide, where they controlled the game throughout, and that should give them enough confidence.
The +12.5 line is enough to include the Saints in AFL picks this week.

Friday 10/7/26
7:40pm Sydney vs. Adelaide @ SCG
Betting Tip: Adelaide +11.5 @ $1.90

Sydney was in position to beat Fremantle last week, but they were overwhelmed in the fourth quarter, and we didn’t like how their heads dropped.
That’s a concerning sign coming into the finals, and looking to capitalise is Adelaide, which is seeking an upset win on the road.
They were far too good for Gold Coast last week, and with momentum on their side, they could pull off an upset, so the +11.5 line is generous.

Saturday 18/7/26
1:15pm Port Adelaide vs. Fremantle @ Adelaide Oval
Betting Tip: Fremantle -39.5 @ $1.90

Fremantle firmed into clear favouritism for the AFL title this year after putting on a fourth-quarter clinic against Sydney in the top of the table clash.
They couldn’t have been more impressive late in the game, and even if they’re trailing, they don’t panic and they stick to their systems.
That’s bad news for Port Adelaide, who could get blown off the park. Include Fremantle -39.5 in AFL picks.

4:15pm North Melbourne vs. Melbourne @ Marvel Stadium
Betting Tip: Melbourne -17.5 @ $1.90

Punters are met with an intriguing contest on Saturday, and although the Kangaroos have their supporters, Melbourne should be too good.
The Demons scored a comfortable enough victory over Richmond last week, and they did what they needed to do.
North Melbourne has played well at times, but we believe there is a sizable difference in class, and Melbourne could take advantage by scoring an easy victory to cover the -17.5 spread.

7:35pm Collingwood vs. Carlton @ MCG
Betting Tip: Collingwood -6.5 @ $1.90

Carlton featured in our AFL picks last week, but we were disappointed with the result. We expected better, and we also expected a bigger line for Collingwood this week.
They’re not getting much respect from bookmakers at only -6.5, and although it should be a good contest, the Magpies should pull clear late.
We recommend taking the line before late money comes for them.

8:10pm West Coast vs. Brisbane @ Optus Stadium
Betting Tip: Brisbane -44.5 @ $1.90

We picked Brisbane to score an easy win over Essendon last week. They didn’t let us down, and it should be another one-sided win against West Coast.
The Eagles made the Bulldogs work for it last week, but the Lions are a much better team, and they’re starting to build their way to defending the title.
Covering the -44.5 spread should be hard for the premiers.

Sunday 19/7/26
1:10pm Richmond vs. Hawthorn @ MCG
Betting Tip: Richmond +51.5 @ $1.90

It’s not easy to include Richmond in picks, but we don’t see Hawthorn covering the -51.5 spread.
It’s a big number to cover, and despite beating Carlton last week, we aren’t convinced that they’re playing well enough to win by a big margin.
The +51.5 line is big enough to take the underdogs.

3:15pm Gold Coast vs. Western Bulldogs @ People First Stadium
Betting Tip: Western Bulldogs @ $2.00

We can’t include Gold Coast in our selections given their recent form, and it has been a poor season by their standards.
Looking to take advantage of their low confidence levels are the Bulldogs, who have made their way into the top eight with a win last week.
Punters get $2 for the Bulldogs, and those odds are worth including.

4:40pm Essendon vs. GWS @ Marvel Stadium
Betting Tip: GWS -39.5 @ $1.90

There isn’t much to get excited about for Essendon fans after another poor loss to Brisbane last week.
Punters should avoid backing the Bombers until they show some fight, and losing by 90 points doesn’t instill confidence.
GWS is playing only OK, but it’s good enough to put up another big score.
