We have expert betting tips for all Round 20 AFL games this week.
There are plenty of good betting games this week, including the Friday night thriller between the North Melbourne and Hawthorn.
Punters have plenty of quality games to bet on in Round 20 of the AFL.
AFL Round 20 Tips
7:50pm North Melbourne Kangaroos vs. Hawthorn Hawks @ Marvel Stadium
This is the closest game in the betting market and it should be a great way to kick off Round 20 action.
The Kangaroos are looking to bounce back after losing to the West Coast Eagles last week but playing at home is going to help their cause.
For the Hawks, a push into the top eight is on the line after dropping a game to the Brisbane Lions last week. The 60-87 loss came against a team which is firing on all cylinders and facing North Melbourne should help.
Tough game to call but we’re sticking with the home side.
Betting tip: Kangaroos to win @ $1.85 Bet Now

1:45pm Essendon Bombers vs. Port Adelaide Power @ Marvel Stadium
Essendon are riding a good period of form and they have broken into the top eight with a win over the Suns last week.
The opposition is harder this week when facing the Power, but the Power have been finding ways to lose lately.
A one-point loss to the Giants is nothing to be ashamed of but the game was there for the taking and Port Adelaide simply isn’t converting.
Essendon could take advantage of that and keep the roll going.
Betting tip: Bombers –13.5 @ $1.90 Bet Now

2:10pm GWS Giants vs. Sydney Swans @ Giants Stadium
The Giants are coming off a nail-biting win over the Port Adelaide Power in Adelaide last week and returning home will do them plenty of good.
They take on the Swans which put up a fight against the Cats last week but were ultimately disappointing and they have been for most of the season.
We thought bookmakers would open the Giants shorter than the advertised price of $1.31 and it’s a good multi-bet price for Round 20.
Giants should be too big and too strong for the flightless Swans.
Betting tip: Giants to win @ $1.31 Bet Now

2:35pm Fremantle Dockers vs. Geelong Cats @ Optus Stadium
Fremantle have had a solid season but they were manhandled by the Western Bulldogs last week and recovering from that could be tough.
Making it even harder will be the Cats, which returned to form with a 107-80 win over the Sydney Swans on Sunday.
The Dockers have been a good bet at home this season and the $2.85 on offer will be snapped up, but we’re going with the better team here.
Cats at $1.40 is a fair price from bookmakers.

7:25pm Melbourne Demons vs. Richmond Tigers @ MCG
The pain continued last week for the Melbourne Demons, which are now 5 wins and 13 losses on a season that promised so much.
More pain could be inflicted by the Richmond Tigers this week, which are sitting comfortably in fourth position on the ladder.
The Tigers were too good for the injury-ravaged Magpies last week, scoring a 98-66 victory on Friday night. It should hold them in good stead for this and we’re predicting anther Tigers win.
The Demons are their own worst enemy in 2019.
Betting tip: Richmond –28.5 @ $1.90 Bet Now
Richmond by 36
8:10pm Adelaide Crows vs. St Kilda Saints @ Adelaide Oval
They sit inside the top eight but it has been anything but a good season for the Adelaide Crows.
There is little room to move at the moment and they weren’t helped by a Round 19 loss to the Carlton Blues. The 87-60 was one of their worst losses of the season.
However, the Saints haven’t been overly consistent this season and although they scored a win last week, that came over the Demons.
Adelaide should have too many guns at home.
Betting tip: Crows –19.5 @ $1.90 Bet Now
Crows by 30
1:10pm Collingwood Magpies vs. Gold Coast Suns @ MCG
The injury toll got worse for the Magpies last week and we’re unsure if they can come through it on the other side.
Collingwood has slipped down to sixth on the ladder after losing 98-66 to the Tigers last week and although they should win this game, there are big concerns for their premiership hopes.
Fortunately for the Magpies, they could run out their second unit and still beat the Suns this Sunday. The Suns showed some fight last week but they’re simply not winners.
Betting tip: Magpies –33.5 @ $1.90 Bet Now
Magpies by 42
3:20pm Carlton Blues vs. West Coast Eagles @ Marvel Stadium
The Blues scored a quality win over the Adelaide Crows last week and they could build from that momentum.
Bookmakers, however, don’t think they’ll have enough to beat the Eagles and they’re probably right. The Eagles swooped on the Kangaroos when scoring a 121-72 win last week.
West Coast has ambitions to get back to the Grand Final and they’re looking like a team that has every chance to do so.
20.5 is the current line and that’s a fair assumption.
Betting tip: Eagles –20.5 @ $1.90 Bet Now
Eagles by 24
4:40pm Brisbane Lions vs. Western Bulldogs @ Gabba
There is no slowing down the Lions at the moment after they scored an 87-60 win over the Hawks last week, despite missing one of their star players.
Exceeding expectations this season, the Lions are streaking at the moment and the Bulldogs could be their next victim.
The Dogs did look good when beating the Dockers 113-66 last week, so we have to give them respect but stick with the Lions in this situation.
Betting tip: Lions –18.5 @ $1.90 Bet Now
