It’s a big line for Brisbane to cover, but based on what we’ve seen from Carlton, we can’t include the Blues in our AFL predictions this week.

Carlton is riding a long losing streak, culminating with a 106-69 loss to St Kilda last week. Expectations were high, but it’s another concerning loss for the Blues, who have a shocking record against Brisbane. They have lost 19 of their last 20 games against Brisbane, so it would take a brave punter to back them.

Brisbane hit back with two wins following its close loss to Melbourne. Recent wins over Adelaide and Essendon bode well, and the Lions defeated the Bombers 143-79 last week, so punters should expect a similar score on Friday night.

The line might seem daunting, but we don’t see Carlton putting up much of a fight.
