Carlton vs. Brisbane Predictions - AFL Round 21 2026Ended

We have Carlton vs. Brisbane predictions for AFL Round 21 on Saturday, August 1 at 7:40pm at Marvel Stadium.

Brisbane has peaked at the right time of the year, as they look to add another dent to Carlton’s finals hopes.

Best Bet

Brisbane -24.5 @ $1.90

Bet Now

Brisbane is loving life once again after posting seven consecutive wins, culminating in an easy win over Port Adelaide last week. They cruised to victory, and although we expect Carlton to be a tougher test, class is with the Lions.

They met earlier this season when the Lions won 110-89 at home, and although the margin was only 11 points, they held a 38-point halftime lead before taking their foot off the gas in the second half, but they’re unlikely to do that again.

We have Brisbane coming out of the gates with determination, and if they lead at halftime, Carlton could find it tough to come back. Bookmakers have the line at -24.5 for a reason, and despite improving in the mid-stages of the year, Carlton’s hopes of playing finals footy could soon come to an end.

The -24.5 line could move to around -26.5 throughout the week, so we suggest jumping on early.

Same Game Multi

Brisbane -24.5, Logan Morris 3+ Goals, Kai Lohmann 2+ Goals, Total Points Under 179.5 @ $13.25

Bet Now

The $2.45 odds for Logan Morris to kick 3+ goals is better than expected. He has three 3+ goal games from his last five matches, so the form is on the board. He only needs to keep his form going to cash in for punters at value odds.

Kai Lohmann has been an excellent AFL SGM bet this season. He has 17 goals from his last five games, which coincides with Brisbane’s improved form. We love what he is doing for the Lions, and he should kick 2+ goals at $1.61.

We’re going with under 179.5 points, as Carlton could suffer on the offensive end. Brisbane’s defence is good, having limited their opposition to under 70 points in their last three games.

Best Value Bet

Zac Bailey 25+ Disposals @ $3.18

Bet Now

Gunning for his third consecutive 25+ disposal game is Zac Bailey, who has been a consistent player for Brisbane.

He posted 26 disposals against West Coast and Port Adelaide, who are easy teams to dominate, but he’ll likely do plenty of work against Carlton.

It’s another generous price from bookies, so we’re snapping up the odds.
