Fremantle vs. Carlton Predictions – AFL Round 7 2026

We have Fremantle vs. Carlton predictions for AFL Round 7 on Saturday, April 25 at 8:15pm at Optus Stadium.

Fremantle has a good record at Optus Stadium against teams on a losing streak, so it could be another one-sided affair on Saturday night.

Best Bet

Fremantle -36.5 @ $1.90

Fremantle is on a roll after beating West Coast with ease last week, and it has been their defence that has stood out over the last few weeks.

They allowed only 41 points to the Eagles and 39 points against Collingwood, and although conditions against the Magpies weren’t good, we were still impressed with their ability to keep the Magpies from scoring.

Carlton is going through a tough period on and off the field, and we don’t see the Blues turning things around anytime soon. After posting four straight losses, they’re trending negatively, and it could take a few weeks to turn things in their favour.

Covering a –36.5 line isn’t easy, but the Dockers are red-hot and worth backing.

Same Game Multi

Fremantle -36.5, Josh Treacy 3+ Goals, Patrick Voss 2+ Goals, Total Points Under 176.5 @ $8.00

Josh Treacy has only three goals from his last three games, but he has been confidently backed to kick 2-3 goals on Saturday. We’re taking the $2.03 for Treacy to kick 3+ goals, which gives the multi bet a nice boost.

Patrick Voss pays $1.64 to kick 2+ goals, having scored three goals against West Coast. He should fancy his chances against a Carlton defence that’s struggling to contain their opposition.

We have Carlton scoring around 66 points, which should be enough to secure the under and cash Fremantle –36.5. Given Fremantle’s defence, Carlton should struggle to kick goals from open play.

Best Value Bet

Mason Cox 2+ Goals @ $6.25

Punters get juicy odds for Mason Cox to kick 2+ goals, and although he doesn’t make it a habit of scoring, he kicked two goals only two games ago.

That came when he played with Collingwood, and although this is only his second game with Fremantle, he could make a big impact where least expected.

He has kicked two goals in some of the biggest matches of his career, so the $6.25 odds for it to happen again are worth taking for the enjoyment factor.
