Fremantle vs. Gold Coast Predictions – AFL Round 16 2026

We have Fremantle vs. Gold Coast predictions for AFL Round 16 on Sunday, June 28 at 5:10pm at Optus Stadium.

Fremantle looks to hold the top spot against a Gold Coast team heading in the wrong direction after four consecutive losses.

Best Bet

Fremantle –28.5 @ $1.90

Fremantle are riding a 13-game winning streak, and it’s unlikely to end against Gold Coast on Sunday.

It has been a great season so far for the Dockers, and although they’ll need to prove they can win in the finals, getting there as the top seed would be a bonus.

They took care of Geelong with a 99-90 win last week. They were –12.5 favourites, so punters didn’t cash in, but they could score a much more comfortable win against a Gold Coast team coming off some disappointing losses.

They lost to North Melbourne, Brisbane, Geelong, and Hawthorn, and they weren’t competitive against Brisbane and Geelong. They were put under the pump from the outset, and given Fremantle’s pressure, Gold Coast could fold easily again.

Take Fremantle to win and cover the –28.5 spread.

Same Game Multi

Fremantle –28.5, Josh Treacy 3+ Goals, Jye Amiss 3+ Goals, Total Points Over 163.5 @ $8.50

Our SGM pick includes Josh Treacy and Jye Amiss to kick 3+ goals each. Treacy has 13 goals from his last five games, so he’s close to averaging 3+ goals a game, and he should have a field day against Gold Coast.

Amiss can’t miss recently, having scored 15 goals in his last five games. There is no reason to leave him out of AFL picks this week, and we’re surprised by the $2.20 odds for him to kick 3+ goals.

Bookies expect a low-scoring game, but we have over 163.5 coming through for punters. We have Fremantle winning 99-69, which is enough to cash the over.

Best Value Bet

Luke Jackson 2+ Goals @ $3.50

Luke Jackson has inserted himself into the attack recently with six goals from his last two games.

He wasn’t a noted goal scorer, but he kicked three against North Melbourne and Geelong, so we’re taking the value odds for him to kick 2+ goals.

The $3.50 odds are generous, and he should get in the thick of the scoring action on Sunday.
