The Dockers might have ended the regular season with two losses from their last three games, but we’re not overly concerned. Those losses came at Melbourne and Carlton, and there was no pressure on Fremantle to win.

They had already wrapped up the minor premiership, and not risking injury was important. Therefore, punters should worry about those losses. A better betting guide is their 88-73 win over Hawthorn in May, and it could be a similar result.

They scored a big comeback win in the fourth quarter to down the Hawks, and the beauty of Fremantle is that they’re never out of the game. They possess excellent composure, so even if Hawthorn leads early, Fremantle could still cover the -14.5 spread.
