We have no doubt Geelong will win the game, but covering a -64.5 spread is tough, even playing against the worst team in the competition. However, given the way Essendon has played recently, we can’t put our hard-earned money on them.

They scored a huge upset win over GWS in Round 19 but followed it with big losses to Hawthorn and Adelaide. They face another top eight team on the weekend, and it should be a similar result to those games.

Geelong comes off three consecutive wins against St Kilda, Melbourne, and Collingwood, so they’re back in title contention, and we can’t see Essendon being much of a roadblock on their way to the finals. Take the -64.5 line before it moves during the week.
