Melbourne lost to Port Adelaide two weeks ago before getting a bye, and that couldn’t have come at the right time. They needed a week break to recover, and they looked good earlier this season when posting wins over Brisbane and Sydney in consecutive weeks.
Beating last year’s finalists in back-to-back weeks is impressive, and although consistency hasn’t been easy for the Demons, they have enough talent to keep it close against a Gold Coast team coming off losses to GWS, Geelong, and Fremantle.
Getting +17.5 is a fair line with AFL odds, and it’s worth including in AFL multis.

Goals could come freely in this game, so we’re including Kysaiah Pickett and Bayley Fritsch to score 2+ goals each. Pickett comes off consecutive three-goal games, so he’s playing well, and he is Melbourne’s best scoring chance.
