GWS vs. North Melbourne Predictions – AFL Round 7 2026

We have GWS vs. North Melbourne predictions for AFL Round 7 on Sunday, April 26 at 4:40pm at Manuka Oval.

An upset could be on the cards to close out the round, as North Melbourne looks to build on its momentum.

Best Bet

North Melbourne +16.5 @ $1.90

GWS is a short favourite considering it has lost four of its last five games. The $1.41 odds are far too skinny for our liking, so we’re backing North Melbourne with the +16.5 line.

That’s a fair number of points for a Kangaroos team coming off a 130-55 win over Richmond, and although the level of opposition wasn’t good, we can’t remember the last time the Roos won by 75 points.

With three wins from their last four games, including victories over Essendon and Carlton, they are firing on all cylinders. Their only recent loss came to Brisbane, but they didn’t lose too many admirers with that performance.

We’re happy to back the underdogs to cause a boil over on the road.

Same Game Multi

North Melbourne +20.5, Jack Darling 1+ Goal, Nick Larkey 2+ Goals, Total Points Over 184.5 @ $8.25

Jack Darling has a goal in each of his last three games, and we’re picking that trend to continue. Punters get $1.62 to include in AFL same game multi picks, so it’s worth including to boost payouts.

Nick Larkey is having a great year, having kicked 13 goals from his last five games. He’s seeing the ball go through the centre of the posts, and with his confidence levels high, he should have another 2+ goal effort.

It should be an exciting and open contest, so include over 184.5 points. They had 212 points in their latest meeting, which is a good form guide.

Best Value Bet

North Melbourne H2H @ $2.92

Winning on the road isn’t easy for a young North Melbourne team, but they’re brimming with confidence, and that could be enough to get it done.

We priced the Kangaroos at $2.30 to win, so the $2.92 available with bookmakers is tough to overlook. They’re currently playing better than GWS, which has been a big disappointment so far this season. There is little value in betting on GWS to win, so take North Melbourne to come up with the goods.
