One of the biggest games of the week is the Hawks vs. Bulldogs, where Hawthorn is the –20.5 favourites at home.

Hawthorn is riding a 12 game winning streak at home, and although covering a –20.5 spread is harder, they should have too much class for the Bulldogs.

They bounced back from consecutive losses with wins over Adelaide and St Kilda, and their 119-67 win over St Kilda was an excellent effort. That should give them enough confidence to kick on with it, and they have AFL premiership ambitions in 2026.

The Bulldogs have also done well to bounce back with wins over Melbourne and Collingwood. Both wins came by four points or less, but they showed plenty of fight. However, they’ll need to be more clinical to keep it close against Hawthorn.

Hawthorn won 104-64 during Gather Round, and it should be another one-sided scoreline on Friday night.
