Melbourne has been a good bet at the MCG, and there could be an upset in the making on Saturday afternoon.

Boasting three wins from their last four games, things have started to turn around for Melbourne. The Demons defeated Brisbane, Richmond, and West Coast during that run, and even their loss to Sydney wasn’t a bad performance.

They are arguably playing better right now than Hawthorn, which had a draw against Collingwood before losing to Fremantle last week. Their confidence might have taken a hit with the loss to the Dockers, and Melbourne could capitalise.

There has been respect for Melbourne with AFL odds. They’re only +18.5 underdogs, and they have covered the spread in their last seven games at the MCG. That’s a good sign, and because we have Melbourne winning outright, we’ll happily snap up the current line.
