We can’t remember the last time we had confidence when betting on North Melbourne to cover a –25.5 spread, but we expect them to pump the Richmond Tigers on Sunday afternoon.

Richmond is having another terrible year, and after getting hammered by GWS last week, there is a real cause for concern about their attitude. It was another heavy loss, and it followed up a 48-point effort against Port Adelaide.

If North Melbourne has made any improvements over the last few years, they should expect to win by a big margin at home. They are a much better team in 2026, having beaten Port Adelaide, Essendon, and Carlton, so we predict them winning by at least 40 points.

The Tigers are riding a long losing streak, and we don’t see that being broken in this situation.
