North Melbourne vs. West Coast Predictions – AFL Round 14 2026

We have North Melbourne vs. West Coast predictions for AFL Round 14 on Saturday, June 13 at 4:15pm at Optus Stadium.

It’s not easy to get excited by a 14th vs. 16th matchup, but there is value with AFL betting markets for this game.

Best Bet

North Melbourne –6.5 @ $1.90

It’s an important game for North Melbourne, who sit above West Coast on the AFL ladder, but they need to bounce back after a shockingly poor effort against Fremantle.

Losing 155-31 is not a good look, and it shows a lack of effort. However, North Melbourne often struggles to keep up against good teams, and West Coast isn’t a good team. The Eagles kept it close against Port Adelaide last week, but the standard of play was low.

They will be buoyed by their 111-94 win at home against North Melbourne earlier this year, but that was a game the Kangaroos could have easily won after leading 43-19 after the first quarter.

If the ‘Roos can’t beat West Coast by seven points, their improvement over the last two years has been worthless, so we’re keeping the faith and backing them to cover the spread.

Same Game Multi

North Melbourne –6.5, Paul Curtis 2+ Goals, Colby McKercher 20+ Disposals, Total Points Over 165.5 @ $9.50

Paul Curtis didn’t kick a goal against Fremantle, but that was the theme of the day for North Melbourne. He is much better than that, and he could do with better distribution from the midfield. If he gets chances to score, he’ll likely convert, so take Curtis 2+ goals at $1.67.

Colby McKercher has been right around the mark of 20+ disposals recently, scoring totals of 19, 18, and 19. However, he posted 23 and 25 disposals in two games prior, and he should get back to that form, which would greatly help the Kangaroos.

A wide-open game is expected with plenty of goals, and bookmakers might have missed a trick with the 165.5-point line.

Best Value Bet

North Melbourne 40+ @ $5.20

If North Melbourne is ever going to beat a team by 40+ points, it’s likely against West Coast, who can struggle to deliver on the road.

If the Kangaroos are at their best, they can put up big scoring totals, and this looks like an ideal chance for them to play with freedom after being hounded by Fremantle in every aspect of the contest.

The $5.20 odds make it a worthwhile play.
