Port Adelaide vs. Melbourne Predictions - AFL Round 14 2025

We have Port Adelaide vs. Melbourne predictions for action on Sunday June 15 at 3:20pm at Adelaide Oval.

AFL Sunday action kicks off with Port Adelaide vs Melbourne, where Port Adelaide is the slight favourites to beat the higher-ranked Demons.

Port Adelaide vs. Melbourne Predictions

Best Bet

Port Adelaide H2H @ $1.85

It was good to see Port Adelaide respond to criticisim last week with a win over GWS. It was a much-needed win after posting four wins and seven losses prior, but if they beat Melbourne, a spot inside the top eight isn’t out of the realm of possibility.

It’s all about attitude for the Power, who typically play their best footy at Adelaide Oval, and they could take advantage of a Melbourne team coming off a heartbreaking loss over Collingwood. Going so close against the Magpies shows how good Melbourne can be, but the hangover might be too much.

It’s good to see betting support coming for Port Adelaide to hold down the fort at home. We’re happy to follow them based on their win over the Giants.

Same Game Multi

Port Adelaide H2H, Willie Rioli 2+ Goals, Bayley Fritsch 2+ Goals, Total Match Points Over 154.5 @ $9.50

Willie Rioli sparked the Power into life last week and they need him to play well again on Sunday. He has six goals from his last four games, with three of those games being 2+ goal performances.

Punters get $2.12 for Rioli to score twice, which is a better price than the $1.84 for Bayley Fritsch to score 2+ goals. He is worth including in AFL same game multis at those odds following a three-goal performance against Collingwood.

He had a good chance to kick a fourth goal late in the fourth quarter, and although he could have given them the win, it was still a solid performance.

Over 154.5 is an overly generous line. They scored 104 points in their 2024 meeting, but that followed 195 and 156 points, so there is enough offence in these teams to go over the total.

Best Value Bet

Jackson Mead Anytime Goal Scorer @ $2.80

Scoring goals hasn’t come easily for Jackson Mead recently, but the Port Adelaide midfielder/forward is overdue for a big performance.

The 23-year-old has plenty of upside, and if Melbourne’s midfield doesn’t defend well, Mead could get out and running to send a kick through the middle of the uprights.

$2.80 is a fair price with AFL odds, so include him as a value bet.
