Richmond vs. West Coast Predictions - AFL Round 21 2026Ended

We have Richmond vs. West Coast predictions for AFL Round 21 on Sunday, August 2 at 1:10pm at the MCG.

Kicking off AFL action on Sunday are the Tigers and Eagles, where one team will end their losing drought.

Best Bet

Richmond @ $1.98

Bet Now

Most of the market support has come for West Coast, but we’re prepared to give Richmond some credit.

The Tigers didn’t fire against the Bulldogs last week, but they pushed Carlton close when losing 74-72 in Round 17, and if they can get back to that form, beating West Coast won’t be too difficult at the MCG.

West Coast was hammered by Fremantle last week as expected. That followed losses to some tough teams, but we’re noting their loss to Carlton as a form guide. They lost 117-64 in Round 16, which was only a week before Richmond almost beat the Blues.

Another good form guide in their previous meeting in May, where Richmond prevailed 99-88 to record a rare win in 2026. They’ll be confident of producing a similar result, especially playing at home compared to Optus Stadium.

Same Game Multi

Richmond H2H, Tom Lynch 3+ Goals, Mykelti Lefau 2+ Goals, Total Points Over 167.5 @ $9.50

Bet Now

Tom Lynch is an underutilised big man for Richmond, and if they can get him more involved, he should kick a few goals. He has only five goals from his last five games, including two doubles, but he’s capable of much more. The $2.30 odds to kick 3+ goals is worth including in AFL same game multi bets.

Mykelti Lefau comes off a two-goal showing against the Bulldogs, and he could keep that form going. The $1.73 odds are big enough to include to boost payouts.

It could be an open game with plenty of scoring, despite the line being set at 167.5 points. We have the over cashing, so include it in selections.

Best Value Bet

Richmond Wire-to-Wire @ $3.10

Bet Now

Richmond’s best chance of winning comes with a big first quarter and we have them leading and never looking back.

They have a team good enough to cope with West Coast, and we don’t enjoy betting on West Coast away from home, so they could struggle in the first half.

The $3.10 odds for a wire-to-wire win are good enough to include as a value bet.
