The two-time defending champions have a great chance to win their first finals game of the season against an understrength Sydney outfit.

The Swans did well to beat North Melbourne in Round 24 without some of their stars, but it’s much harder to beat a team like Brisbane, who enter the finals with three consecutive wins under their belt, including wins over Collingwood and Hawthorn.

We have the Lions being too good for Sydney, and we likely would have backed them regardless of Sydney missing some of their key players. They still have Charlie Curnow and Logan McDonald, but their midfield will suffer.

Brisbane should dominate in the middle of the park with Dayne Zorko, Will Ashcroft, and Lachie Neale, who will relish the chance of playing against a weakened Sydney outfit.

Covering the -25.5 line shouldn’t be too difficult, as Brisbane looks to march towards another AFL Grand Final.
