Sydney vs. Western Bulldogs Predictions

We have Sydney vs. Western Bulldogs predictions for AFL Round 17 on Friday, July 3 at 7:40pm at the SCG.

It’s a top eight clash between the Swans and Bulldogs, where Sydney is the firm favourite to bounce back from a rare loss.

The Swans have looked a little flat over the last few weeks, despite winning two of those three games. They defeated St Kilda 104-102 before holding on to beat Port Adelaide 93-90, and their loss last week to Brisbane didn’t look good.

However, those poor performances showcased what Sydney needs to work on to become a premiership contender, and they could iron it out against the Bulldogs, who are a good test after winning four of their last five games.

The Bulldogs are a tough team to work out. They beat Melbourne, Collingwood, and Hawthorn in close games before being blown out 121-64 by Adelaide. It’s those performances which make them tough to bet on, so we’re putting our faith that Sydney gets back to its best.

Chad Warner also stepped up for Sydney last week with four goals. It was his best scoring night for some time, and his confidence is starting to build. He has 10 goals from his last four games, so the $2.20 odds are appealing.

Sydney’s last four matches have gone over the total, and we predict a high-scoring game at the SCG.
