West Coast vs. Collingwood Predictions - AFL Round 22 2026Ended

We have West Coast vs. Collingwood predictions for AFL Round 22 on Sunday, August 9 at 4:10pm at Optus Stadium.

Collingwood is looking for a spot back inside the top eight with a win over West Coast, and most of the money has been for the Magpies with AFL betting markets.

Best Bet

Collingwood -21.5 @ $1.90

Bet Now

We expected to see a bigger line from bookmakers for Collingwood, who are clearly a much better team than West Coast.

The Magpies has a good chance of rebounding from a loss to Geelong, and with West Coast riding an eight-game losing streak, they are there for the taking.

Collingwood had looked good previously with wins over Carlton and Adelaide, who are tough teams to beat. They didn’t come close to losing those games, including a 34-point win over Adelaide, so the form checks out nicely.

We priced Collingwood at -30.5 against a West Coast team coming off a loss to Richmond. It doesn’t get much worse than that, so it should be another one-sided game in Round 22, which features a lot of short-priced favourites.

Same Game Multi

Collingwood -21.5, Daniel McStay 3+ Goals, Tim Membrey 2+ Goals, Total Points Under 170.5 @ $14.75

Bet Now

Daniel McStay has been on fire for the Magpies, scoring five goals last week. He has 15 goals from his last five games and we have him scoring 3+ goals against West Coast. Punters get a healthy $2.60 for McStay 3+ goals, which is an excellent price to include in AFL SGM bets.

Tim Membrey failed to score last week, but that’s not the norm. He had 10 goals from his previous four games, so we expect his best form to return at $1.61 odds.

Like most teams struggling to win, scoring points have become too tough. We expect West Coast to play poorly on attack, so include under 170.5 points.

Best Value Bet

Beau McCreery 2+ Goals @ $5.60

Bet Now

Beau McCreery is enjoying a purple patch of form in the goal kicking department. He has five goals from his last three games, including two doubles.

Bookies aren’t giving him much credit, but he could have another impact on the scoreboard, and the $5.60 odds are too good to turn down. Include him in AFL picks this week as a value bet.
