It’s rare to see West Coast on track for consecutive wins, but we think they deserve to be favourites against a struggling Port Adelaide.

The Power come off four consecutive losses before enjoying a bye last week, but they lost 92-58 to Carlton in Round 11, which was a dreadful performance. They haven’t scored over 75 points in their last four games, so this game is there to win for West Coast.

The Eagles lost narrowly to Collingwood in Round 12 before bouncing back to beat Essendon. They were never in doubt of losing against the Bombers, and based on that performance, we thought they would be $1.80 favourites.

Getting a +8.5 line is generous for what should be a close game, so take the Eagles to score a rare winning double.

Harvey Johnson goes under the radar in goal scoring markets, but he has a goal in each of his last three games. The $2.07 odds for his streak to continue are worth snapping up, as he’s being largely ignored as a goal-scoring option.

Port Adelaide last nine games have gone under the total, and with them struggling to score points, under 172.5 points is a welcome addition to AFL SGM selections.
