West Coast vs. St Kilda Predictions
—
Best Bet
Betting on West Coast is a recipe for disaster, and although St Kilda has been inconsistent, it should be far too good for the Eagles.
West Coast is 0-9 in 2025, following losses to Richmond and Melbourne, so they can’t even beat the easier AFL teams. That’s not a good sign, and St Kilda should take advantage to score its fifth win of the year.
The Saints have only one win from their last five games, but the win was a 94-33 victory over Fremantle, and they have faced tough teams in GWS, Western Bulldogs, Brisbane, and Carlton. This is much easier, and they should cruise to victory as –19.5 favourites.

Same Game Multi
Under 168.5 isn’t many points to work with, but we can’t see West Coast scoring a big total. The Eagles haven’t scored over 79 points in their last five games, including 50 points when losing to Carlton, so something similar is expected.
Jack Higgins and Cooper Sharman could have a field day for St Kilda. Higgins has 11 goals from his last five games, including two last week, and we can’t see him not taking advantage of a poor West Coast defence.
The same goes for Sharman, who has come alive recently with six goals from his last two games. He had four against Fremantle, and we fancy his chances of scoring at least two goals on Sunday.
Anchor St Kilda –19.5 in AFL picks, as the line should be around –27.5.

Best Value Bet
Getting $2.08 for a St Kilda wire-to-wire victory is an excellent value bet, as West Coast typically gets blown out of the park from the opening bounce.
There is no reason to believe the Eagles will come out with much and given that they lost by 72 points in their most recent meeting, it’s hard to imagine their offence suddenly fires up to take a first quarter lead.
