Western Bulldogs vs. Collingwood Predictions – AFL Round 12 2026

We have Western Bulldogs vs. Collingwood predictions for AFL Round 12 on Saturday, May 30 at 7:35pm at Marvel Stadium.

Closing out Super Saturday are the Bulldogs and Magpies, who would love to start stringing wins together.

Best Bet

Western Bulldogs –7.5 @ $1.90

The Bulldogs had to dig deep against Melbourne last Sunday, and it could have been a season-saving victory.

They currently sit outside the top eight in ninth, one place ahead of Collingwood, so this looms as a big game. We have the Bulldogs edging clear of the Magpies in the second half, especially if they play somewhere close to their best.

Consistency has been tough to come by for the Bulldogs, who defeated Port Adelaide before losing to Carlton. They can’t have those losses on their record, but with Collingwood only beating West Coast by 10 points last week, this is a game the Bulldogs should win.

We have him covering the –7.5 spread, and although it should be a close game throughout, the Bulldogs should pull away in the fourth quarter.

Same Game Multi

Western Bulldogs –7.5, Marcus Bontempelli 2+ Goals, Ed Richards 1+ Goals, Total Points Under 180.5 @ $8.00

Marcus Bontempelli has been making money for loyal punters after scoring another double last week. He always pays good odds to kick 2+ goals, and the $2.25 odds available this week are too generous to turn down.

We’re taking shorter odds for Ed Richards, who is $1.65 to kick a goal. He kicked three last week against Melbourne, and he has at least one goal in four of his last five games, so he’s an excellent AFL SGM pick.

They scored 146 combined points in their latest meeting, and it could be a similar score on Saturday night. The 180.5-point line is higher than expected, so take the value available with bookmakers.

Best Value Bet

Collingwood/Western Bulldogs @ $7.75

We don’t often include these bets in our AFL picks, but we have Collingwood leading at halftime before the Bulldogs run them down in the second half.

It pays a generous $7.75, and although it’s not the easiest AFL prop bet to collect on, it should be a close game for the most part, and Collingwood could have a skinny halftime lead.

That would be the ideal situation, so this bet is worth the risk considering the odds.
