We predicted this exact scenario at the start of the playoffs, and we expected the Sixers to get their revenge for a loss to the Scorchers.
Our pre-season picks had the Sixers winning the tournament, and although the Scorchers play at home having beaten the Sixers earlier in the week, we expect the result to be different this time around when everything is on the line.
After beating the Hurricanes easily on Friday night, the Sixers should be full of confidence. They choked away a win against the Scorchers in the prelim final, and they’re keen to turn that result around, and we’re happy with the $2.10 odds.
The Sixers have quality players, and the addition of Mitch Starc could take them to the next level. It should be a close game, but with Steve Smith batting better than most, he and Starc could showcase their superiority.

Backing Smith has been profitable for BBL punters this season, and we’re not about to jump off his back. He has been on an incredible run, and over 28.5 runs shouldn’t be hard for him to achieve, considering his line was 34.5 against the Hurricanes.
