A Brief History of Bet Bunker
Bet Bunker is a collaboration between Warren Woodcock and Vincent Moriarty, two well-known rails bookmakers. Although the BetBunker.com.au website only debuted in August 2026, the pair have been in racing for much longer.
Moriarty acquired his first license in 1996, but his bookmaking lineage dates back to his grandfather, who started in 1934. Woodcock has been prominent on the Victorian and NSW racing scene for over a decade, regularly showing up at around 60 racecourses.

Yes. The Bet Bunker website is brand new – we compiled this review just one day after its launch. But as we mentioned, it’s registered to a pair of well-respected, trustworthy bookies, who’ve earned a positive reputation across Australia.
Licensed by the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission, the website uses industry standard encryption protocols to secure your sensitive data. It also adheres to the South Australian Codes of Practice, and has plenty of responsible gambling tools in place.

Great Odds
With roughly 50 to 60 betting opportunities per AFL and NRL game, it’s not the biggest selection. Don’t get us wrong – that’s more than adequate. But compared to bet365, for instance, where there are more than 500 options, it’s relatively small.
The most important odds, though, are great. Win lines, for example, are priced around 106% for both competitions, placing them towards the top end of the market.
We also noticed that selected NRL games – seemingly those due to start soon – had even better odds. The bookie’s margin was reduced from 6% to just 5%.
