BetNova was founded in October 2025, making it one of Australia’s newer online betting sites. As such, it’s still flying under many people’s radars – but it’s not a bad little bookie.

As you’ll discover in this BetNova review, it offers speedy payouts and fairly competitive odds on some sports. But, as you might expect for a relative newcomer, there’s plenty of room for improvement.

Before getting into the detailed BetNova betting site review, let’s set the scene. This brand launched in October 2025, so it’s still pretty new. It’s one of several owned by Betting Services Australia Pty Ltd, including DashBet, NinjaBet and PandaBet.

BetNova uses the GenerationWeb platform. This white label software powers many online betting sites, and not just those owned by Betting Services Australia. JustBet, for example, looks almost identical to BetNova, but the two are completely unrelated.

Is BetNova a Trustworthy Betting Site?

Yes, BetNova is a completely legit site. First of all, it’s licensed and regulated by Liquor & Gaming NSW, as well as the Greyhound Welfare and Integrity Commission. In addition, its operations are governed by the South Australian Gambling Codes of Practice.

Betting Services Australia Pty Ltd was registered as a business (ABN 21 649 987 735) in May 2021. As far as we can tell, it has no black marks against its name.

BetNova Online Betting Platform Review

Okay, let’s dig into the odds, markets and features of the BetNova online betting platform. 

Honestly, it’s not the most feature-rich site. You can’t watch live streams, for instance, and nor can you bet on esports. We’ve not seen any cashout offers, either – but at least you can build Same Race and Same Game Multis.

Sports Coverage

The market depth is fine. There’s decent coverage of more than 15 sports, including cricket, rugby league and footy. AFL games tend to feature 60 to 70 betting opportunities – more than some sites, but nowhere near as many as the 260+ at Sportsbet.

Prices aren’t always quick to go up. Three days before the next round of NRL games, you’d expect sites like Neds and Sportsbet to feature around 50 betting opportunities. However, at BetNova, you’ll only see three lines that far in advance – winner, handicap and over/under.

Generally Reasonable Odds

BetNova is fairly competitive on AFL and NRL games, plus a few other rugby league competitions. Matches are generally priced around 106% to 106.5%, which is certainly better than sites like PandaBet, where they take a whopping 16% to 17% margin. 

It’s not as good as TAB, EliteBet and Sportsbet, though, all of which price these games around 105% to 105.5%.

The T20 cricket odds aren’t bad, either, with most competitions set around 108%. Again, that’s not as low a margin as Unibet (105%) and other big-name brands, but it’s in line with the market.

Avoid soccer betting, though – BetNova takes a ridiculous 15% cut on all major games, including the EPL and Champions League.

Payment Methods at BetNova 

Compared to many names on our list of betting sites, BetNova offers a limited selection of payment options.

The transaction limits are fair, with a minimum requirement of just $10 for deposits and withdrawals. You won’t be charged any fees, either. 

Payout requests are processed daily, except for public holidays, but you can only withdraw by EFT. Submit before 11am and you’ll almost always receive the funds on the same day. Of course, if you request a withdrawal late on a Friday night, you’ll have to wait until the following Monday for the money.

Interestingly, BetNova also offers cash deposits in any branch of National Australia Bank, which isn’t something you see at other betting sites. 

Is There a BetNova Mobile App?

Yes. So far, this BetNova review has focused on the website, but it’s time to look at the app. We’ll keep it short, though, as we don’t have many positive things to say.

Poor Reviews

It’s still early days for the BetNova sports betting app, but users don’t seem to like it. In the App Store, it’s rated just 2.1 out of 5. For balance, we must point out there were only seven reviews at the time of writing. Still, it’s not a great start.

There’s an Android app too, but it’s only been downloaded around 100 times from Google Play. It doesn’t have any reviews yet.

Responsive Mobile Site

Being totally honest, you’re better off visiting BetNova.com.au in your mobile browser. The site works well on small screens, as it’s fully responsive. In other words, it automatically adjusts the display to suit your device.

Using the mobile site also means you don’t need to bother installing any software.

BetNova Promo Codes

Due to Australia’s strict marketing regulations, BetNova doesn’t offer signup incentives. Existing players can still benefit from ongoing promotional offers, but they’re hidden until you log in.

Although there isn’t a friend referral bonus, you can enter the promo code NOVA500 if prompted. This is an affiliate code, which helps support us in the work we do.

Customer Support at BetNova 

Support options at BetNova are limited, but not so much as to cause a huge problem. For example, there’s a live chat service, but it only runs from 8am to 11pm Sydney time. 

We feel all betting sites should be offering 24/7 customer support. But it’s only closed for nine hours, most of which you’re asleep for, so it’s hardly the end of the world.

There’s no telephone support – but that’s a trend that most bookies are moving towards. You can call (07) 3077 7137, but only if you’re looking to close your account. 

Email is also an option, but don’t expect a reply outside of the live chat hours.

4. Click “Go to step 2 of 2” when you’re done
5. Now provide a username and password
6. You can also choose to set an optional deposit limit

BetNova Site Review – Final Verdict

We get the impression that BetNova is designed for casual punters. The odds on the country’s favourite sports are usually pretty good. They’re not likely to be top end, but they’re not ripping you off either.

However, step outside the most common sports, competitions and markets, and things change. The soccer odds, for instance, are really bad. You won’t find certain features either, like streaming, cashout and esports odds. And the mobile app is poor.

That said, it’s a trustworthy brand overall, and it’s still pretty new. Hopefully we’ll see some improvements in the coming months that allow us to increase our BetNova rating.
