Before we get into the meat of this BetNow betting site review, let’s discuss the site’s background. 

The brand is one of several owned by Betting Services Australia Pty Ltd, a Queensland-registered company with ABN 21 649 987 735. It shouldn’t be confused with BetNow.eu, a much more questionable site that targets US-based players, despite its European address. 

Although BetNow only launched in February 2026, its parent company has been around since May 2021. It also operates sites like NinjaBet, PandaBet and BetNova, which you may already be familiar with.

Is BetNow a Trustworthy Betting Site?

Yes. As I mentioned, it’s managed by Betting Services Australia Pty Ltd, an operator that handles several other sites. 

All of these brands, including BetNow, are regulated by Liquor & Gaming NSW, with additional oversight from the Greyhound Welfare and Integrity Commission. The company’s operations also adhere to the South Australian Gambling Codes of Practice.

The website features a detailed “Responsible Gambling” section that explains how it prevents minors from using its services, and details various player protection tools. These include deposit limits, temporary account restrictions and permanent self-exclusion.

BetNow Online Betting Platform Review

Now we come to the main part of this BetNow site review – a look at the platform itself. Like all Betting Services Australia brands, this one is powered by GenerationWeb, a white-label platform provider for more than 15 other gambling operators.

The software is pretty simplistic, if we’re completely honest. That’s not necessarily a bad thing – it has a familiar layout that’s easy to get to grips with, even for a total novice. Just don’t expect many fancy bells and whistles. 

You won’t be able to stream live races or games, for example. Nor can you cash out early, or bet in-play.

Average odds for the most part

The odds are consistently average at BetNow. It’s most competitive on rugby league games, particularly the NRL. These matches are priced to around 106% – that’s in line with big players like Ladbrokes and Unibet, but slightly behind TAB and Sportsbet.

AFL win lines are priced to 107%, so you get a little less value than many of Australia’s top sites. Operators like Crownbet build a lower margin of 5% in their prices, with Neds betting to 6%, for instance. For some reason, most new platforms, including ChromaBet, also bet to 107%.

The biggest T20 cricket games, both international and domestic, are priced at 108%. However, we’ve seen test matches at 115% – a 15% margin is outrageously high.

Is There a BetNow Mobile App?

Although BetNow has a mobile app, it’s not gone down well with users thus far. At the time of writing, only five people had reviewed the iOS software in the App Store. But the average rating is just one out of five.

The Android version is currently unrated in the Google Play marketplace, as it’s only been downloaded around 100 times.

Bad early feedback

We can definitely take this initial feedback with a healthy pinch of salt. After all, it’s a small sample size, and some comments are clearly angry, ill-considered rants that contribute nothing. 

Our favourite is the one that simply says “avoid at all costs or regret it” – yeah, thanks for that mate.

But look, we’d be lying if we didn’t point out how badly the app has been received, even though it’s still early days. It’s definitely something to keep an eye on.

Customer Support at BetNow 

Our only experience with the support team wasn’t great. We tried to contact them through live chat, but our message was left on read, before the window eventually closed due to inactivity.

We tried again, but were left waiting for several minutes without a response, before the chat once again closed. Having confirmed the operating hours are from 8am to 11pm Sydney time, this left us confused – we messaged around 7.40pm.

With no telephone number to call, and email being the only alternative, it’s a good job our question wasn’t urgent.

BetNow Review – Final Verdict

We can’t be too critical of BetNow.com.au, as the site only launched in February 2026 – but there have been some obvious teething problems. The App Store features some very bad reviews, for instance, and our experience with customer support was not great.

The site itself, which is built on GenerationWeb’s white label platform, is a carbon copy of many other brands. While that ensures the layout is familiar and easy to use, it also means it’s fairly lacking in character.

BetNow is probably best-suited to new punters. The odds are fine, all the standard markets you’d expect are present, and the cashier contains the most common payment methods. We also appreciate the same-day withdrawals.

However, more experienced punters might bemoan the lack of features like cash out and in-play betting.
