About DashBet

DashBet is owned by Betting Services Australia Pty Ltd, a Queensland-based gambling operator formerly known as Midasbet Pty Ltd. The company changed its name in November 2024, but was originally set up in May 2021.

We’re not sure exactly when DashBet launched, as there’s a lot of conflicting information, but it was some time around August 2025. It’s certainly one of the younger brands operated by Betting Services Australia.

Is DashBet a Trustworthy Betting Site?

Yes. Registered with ABN 21 649 987 735, Betting Services Australia Pty Ltd is a legitimate business that owns and operates several other Australian betting sites. Examples include BetNova and PuntZone.

Betting Services Australia – and by extension, all of its websites, including DashBet – is licensed by Liquor and Gaming NSW. Additionally, it’s regulated by the New South Wales Greyhound Welfare and Integrity Commission, while adhering to the South Australian Gambling Codes of Practice.

DashBet Online Betting Platform Review

Okay, it’s time for our DashBet site review to really get started, as we look into the odds and features and this betting platform. If you ask us, it feels like the site is designed with newcomers in mind.

User-Friendly Layout

The interface adopts a familiar, user-friendly layout, with a left-hand navigation tree and tabs to switch easily between racing and sports betting. There’s also a prominent “Promos” link, though the page is only visible once you’ve logged in.

Despite being easy to use, the platform does lack a little depth. There’s no cashout feature, for example, and nor can you bet on popular esports markets like League of Legends. The site also lacks live betting and streaming.

Solid Rugby League Odds

The odds vary greatly, depending on the sport in question.

For NRL games, the pricing is actually quite competitive – expect win market overrounds to be set at 106%. The lowest margin we know of in Australia is at Pointsbet, where the markets are roughly 104.5%, so 106% is pretty good.

However, that’s not the case for all sports.

Hit and Miss Elsewhere

Footy games, for instance, are priced to 107% – that’s a 1% greater margin for DashBet than is taken by sites like Neds, Unibet and TAB. T20 cricket is also pretty hit and miss, with IPL games priced to 108.5%.

If you want to bet on soccer games, there are much better options. All major competitions, including the Champions League and EPL, are priced to 115% at DashBet. That’s just too high of a margin – try Pointsbet or Unibet instead.

Payment Methods at DashBet

Next up, our DashBet betting site review takes a look at the various deposit and withdrawal options, which are summarised in the table below:

Payment MethodDepositWithdrawal
Debit Card
PayID
Bank Transfer
Cash in branch

As you can see, the choice is fairly limited. Although the most important boxes are ticked – cards and bank transfers – there are no e-wallets, for example. If you’d like to deposit via something like PayPal, we’d recommend the Betfair betting exchange instead.

Unusually, it’s also possible to deposit cash directly into your account by visiting any National Australia Bank branch.

Regardless of your chosen method, the minimum deposit requirement is just $5, and it’s $10 for payouts. Withdrawals are processed once a day at 11am, but not on weekends. Request a bank transfer before that time during the week, and you’ll almost certainly receive your money on the same day.

Card payments may require up to 48 hours, so if you submit the request on a Friday night, you might wait up to five days.

Is There a DashBet Mobile App?

DashBet does offer a sports betting app, both for Android and iOS devices. There’s not been a huge amount of feedback on either, though.

At the time of writing, Google Play had seen roughly 500 downloads, and not enough reviews to offer an average score. The App Store rating was a fairly miserable 2.3 out of 5, but only ten people had left feedback.

In fairness, most of the complaints were not about the app itself, but things like the customer service and the odds. In our opinion, such comments are too harsh, and should be taken with a pinch of salt.

DashBet Promo Codes

You won’t find any DashBet bonus codes or deposit match offers for new players, as this type of promotion isn’t allowed. However, regular customers can log in to see several ongoing promotions, including the REWARDS+ loyalty program.

The more you wager at DashBet, the more perks you’ll receive. Check your account on Fridays to see if you’ve been given any promotional goodies.

Customer Support at DashBet

DashBet has a live chat service, but it doesn’t operate 24/7. Instead, the agents are online from 8am Sydney time until 11pm. They’re certainly helpful and polite – we just wish they were around a little longer.

If you run into a problem out of hours, flick an email to support@dashbet.com.au, and you’ll get a reply the following day. DashBet doesn’t offer any kind of telephone service, either for support or bet placement.

How to Create a DashBet Account

Here’s how to register a new DashBet account:

  1. Visit the website – use a link on this page to get there
  2. Look for the orange “JOIN” button at the top of the screen
  3. Click it and fill in your personal details and contact information
  4. Hit “Go to step 2 of 2” and choose a username and password
  5. Optional step: set a deposit limit for responsible gambling
  6. Read the terms and conditions, then agree to abide by them
  7. Use the “CONFIRM REGISTRATION” button to finish up

Having opened the account, all you can do is browse the odds and view any available promotions. Until you’ve verified your details, you won’t be able to deposit or place a bet.

To verify, click the link shown immediately after signing up. Make sure you have your driver’s license, passport or Medicare details to hand, as you’ll need to upload one of these.

DashBet Review – Final Verdict

I couldn’t help but notice how similar DashBet is to every other site owned by Betting Services Australia Pty Ltd. Aside from the colour scheme, the layout is basically identical to brands like BetNova and NinjaBet.

That has its advantages – it’s a classic design that’s intuitive and user-friendly, whether you’re a complete newcomer or a veteran punter. However, it’s a little uninspiring, and it’s quite hard to get excited as a result.

Still, DashBet has some obvious plus points. These include same-day bank transfers during the week, competitive rugby league odds, and a low minimum deposit limit that encourages responsible gambling. The site offers beginners a perfect environment in which to get familiar with sports betting.
