Even though we couldn’t identify the people who own JustBet Pty Ltd, we’re confident that it’s a legit betting operation. For starters, the business has a licence from the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission.

What’s more, the company is fully registered under ABN 53 661 435 490. Besides, we trust GenerationWeb to make sensible calls about which companies they partner with. 

JustBet Online Betting Platform Review

Okay, let’s drill down and see what JustBet actually has to offer.

In terms of sports, the coverage is standard, with around 15 to 20 options, depending on the time of year. That’s not as many as the country’s biggest hitters, but it’s a solid enough selection.

The same can be said of the markets offered. Take footy games, for instance – you’ll normally see about 65 betting opportunities per AFL game. Compared to the likes of Neds and Sportsbet, that’s anywhere from 160 to 200 fewer options.

Average Odds with Some Exceptions

The odds are fairly average for the most part, with a couple of notable exceptions. Soccer fans, for example, should turn elsewhere. 

All of the biggest matches, including the EPL, Bundesliga and UEFA Champions League, are priced to 115%. That’s a whopping 15% cut for the bookie – nearly 10% more than Pointsbet and Unibet.

At the other end of the scale, the NRL odds are quite competitive, set around 106%. You’ll still get a better price from PlayUp, TAB and Sportsbet most of the time – but not always. 

This is also true for AFL odds, while the cricket prices are fairly average – expect 108.5% for IPL matches and other, similar T20 competitions. 

Minimal Features

Like all GenerationWeb betting sites in Australia, JustBet lacks a few notable features. You can’t bet on esports, there’s no live streaming, and early cashout is not yet an option.

Same Game Multis and Same Race Multis are a thing, luckily. But we’d still like to see a bit more from this platform in future, if we’re to increase our overall JustBet rating.

The limited choice of payment options is perhaps the biggest disappointment we experienced while piecing this JustBet betting site review together.

It would just be nice to have a little more choice. But at least the transaction limits are low – you can deposit and withdraw from as little as $10.

Although you can only request payouts via EFT, the processing times are reasonable. JustBet deals with requests once per day at 11am, excluding public holidays. So, if you withdraw in the morning, you’ll probably get your money later that day. It’s very rare to wait longer than 24 hours.

If you want to try the JustBet sports betting app, be aware that it’s something of a work in progress. App Store users score the software a measly 2.1 out of 5, due to lagging and alleged glitches.

The key takeaway from our JustBet review is how average the platform is. It does a lot of things well enough that most punters will get whatever they’re looking for. For example, the market depth is lacking compared to the top-rated Australian betting sites, but it’s just the right side of acceptable. 

For the country’s most popular sports, the odds are generally towards the top end – though other sites often win out. There are sufficient bonuses and promotions, including a loyalty program, to keep the regulars happy.
