What’s more, NinjaBet is affiliated with the Greyhound Welfare and Integrity Commission, and its operations are governed by the South Australian Gambling Codes of Practice.

Now for the meat of our NinjaBet review – let’s tuck into a breakdown of the odds and features. 

We’ll start with the bad news – this platform doesn’t allow you to cash bets out early. It’s also missing esports odds, live streams and sports statistics – though that’s also true of many other brands right now.

On the other hand, you can build Same Race and Same Game Multis – a key feature of all the best betting sites and apps in Australia. 

Odds and Market Depth

There’s anywhere from 15 to 20 sports available, depending on the season, and the odds are usually pretty reasonable. Expect to see major T20 cricket games priced around 108.5% for instance, which is perfectly average.

NinjaBet tends to offer roughly 40 betting opportunities per AFL game, which is less than the leading sites. Sportsbet has one of the most comprehensive footy offerings, with about 260 per fixture, while Ladbrokes and Neds provide almost 240 markets. 

In terms of odds, it’s the same story, with AFL games priced to 107%. That’s a bigger margin for the bookmaker than Sportsbet and Pointsbet, for example – they bet to 105%. But it’s far superior to Picklebet’s 112%.

Two Extremes

It’s rugby league where Ninjabet really shines, though – its NRL odds are particularly competitive, priced around 106%. That’s in line with big players like Neds, and only just behind the likes of TAB, Sportsbet and Crownbet.

At the other end of the scale, Ninjabet offers some of the worst soccer betting odds we’ve seen in Australia. Fans of the beautiful game shouldn’t waste their time betting here. Even the biggest games, like the Champions League, EPL and Serie A, feature a staggering 15% margin. 

Payment Methods at NinjaBet 

In terms of payment options, NinjaBet offers a fairly limited choice. You can deposit in one of four ways, including cash transactions in branches of National Australia Bank, from as little as $10. 

However, as you’ll see in the table below, the only withdrawal option is an EFT direct to your bank. These also start from just $10.

Payout times are rapid. If you submit a request before 11am, you’re likely to get the money later that day. At most, you’ll wait for 24 hours – unless it’s over a weekend or public holiday.

Is There a NinjaBet Mobile App?

There is a NinjaBet sports betting app, but we can’t honestly recommend it. Stick to the website on your mobile or tablet instead – it’s responsive, so the layout automatically adapts to your screen size for optimal performance. 

Why don’t we like the NinjaBet app? It doesn’t perform any better then the mobile site, and we encountered a few glitches early on. But don’t take our word for it – look at the App Store reviews, where it scores a measly 1.4 out of 5.

Veteran bettors, on the other hand, might be disappointed. After all, NinjaBet doesn’t provide esports betting, live streams or even an early cashout facility. But if you’re looking for same-day withdrawals, fair NRL odds and low-stakes betting, this could be the platform for you.
