A Brief History of PandaBet

Let’s kick our PandaBet betting site review off with a quick look into its short history.

Launched in July 2025, this platform is one of several belonging to Betting Services Australia Pty Ltd. All use the same Generation Web technology, so you’ll recognise the layout if you’ve ever bet with brands like DashBet, BetNova or PuntZone before.

Betting Services Australia, which is registered under ABN 21 649 987 735, used to be called Midasbet Pty Ltd. The company was formed in May 2021, but underwent a name change in November 2024.

Is PandaBet a Trustworthy Betting Site?

Yes. Not only does Betting Services Australia run multiple online betting sites, all of which boast clean operating records, but the company is licensed by Liquor & Gaming NSW.

What’s more, the greyhound betting operation is overseen by the Greyhound Welfare and Integrity Commission, and its operations are also governed by South Australia’s Gambling Codes of Practice

Finally, strict identity verification is in place to prevent fraud and underage gambling, as well as protecting self-excluded punters.

PandaBet Online Betting Platform Review

We can see the appeal of PandaBet to beginners, as a user-friendly betting site with low limits – but experienced and higher-staking players might be underwhelmed.

The choice of sports, for instance, along with the market coverage, is quite average. PandaBet also lacks a few advanced features, such as cashout and live streaming. All that’s really present is the option to build Same Race and Same Game Multi bets.

Adequate Odds

The odds are quite unimpressive, for the most part. Don’t misunderstand us – they’re perfectly fine for many sports. Take AFL games, for example, which are priced at around 107%.

A 7% margin is in line with other brands, like NinjaBet and BetNow. But it’s far behind established sites like Sportsbet and TAB, where the bookie only takes a 5% cut.

Similarly, there’s an overround of roughly 108% for major cricket games, like the IPL and T20 internationals. That’s in line with the market average, but not as good as the country’s best-known bookmakers.

Good and Bad

There are a couple of extremes to note, however. PandaBet’s soccer odds are really bad, with margins in the region of 15% for top competitions like the Premier League, Serie A and the UEFA Champions League.

At the other end of the scale, rugby league is one of the few areas where PandaBet does compete well against the big boys. NRL games are priced to around 106% – that’s roughly the same as Neds and Ladbrokes.

Payment Methods at PandaBet

There aren’t many deposit and withdrawal options at PandaBet. It reminded me of TradieBET when I saw the cashier, but that site also offers PayPal and Apple Pay, neither of which are present here.

The ability to deposit cash in any National Australia Bank branch is a nice touch, but I’d still like to see some more payment options in future. Whichever method you choose, the minimum deposit is just $5.

Here’s a summary of what’s available:

Payment MethodDepositWithdrawal
Debit Card
PayID
Bank Transfer
Cash in branch

EFT is currently the only way to withdraw, and you’ll need at least $10 to request a payout. Transaction times are generally quick, but it depends on your bank account.

If yours supports real‑time payments, you’ll get the money same-day when you withdraw before 11am. Otherwise, you may need to wait up to 24 hours, and potentially five days, if it’s over a weekend or public holiday.

Is There a PandaBet Mobile App?

Yes, PandaBet does have a sports betting app, but you don’t really need to worry about it. At the moment, users don’t rate it highly – the iOS software scores just 2.9 out of 5 in the App Store, for instance.

The Android version remains unrated on Google Play, as it’s only been downloaded around 500 times. Most smartphone and tablet users, including us, prefer the responsive website anyway. It’s easy to use, and automatically reconfigures the layout for optimal display on your screen.

If you’d like to try the app, just open Google Play or the App Store and search “PandaBet”. Follow the instructions to set it up.

PandaBet Promo Codes

Unfortunately, there aren’t any PandaBet bonus codes for new or existing players. Deposit match offers for new customers are forbidden due to strict regulations, along with any bonus that might induce people to gamble.

Existing punters can still collect ongoing rewards for their loyalty, though – you’re just not allowed to see them until you’ve logged into your account.

If you’re ever prompted to insert an affiliate code, please use GOBET250. Doing so helps support our website and the work we do.

Customer Support at PandaBet

For assistance with your PandaBet account, the “FAQ & Help” link in the site footer is the best place to start. This reveals a handful of answers to common questions, explaining how to verify, what payment methods are accepted and how to close your account, for example.

If these simple FAQs don’t help, click the speech bubble icon to start a live support chat. However, this is only operational from 8am until 11pm Sydney time.

Alternatively, you can email support@pandabet.com.au for less urgent issues. Sadly, there isn’t a telephone support service.

How to Create a PandaBet Account

We’re almost at the end of this PandaBet site review. If you’d like to sign up, here’s a step-by-step guide explaining how to do so:

  1. Visit PandaBet.com.au or click a link on this page
  2. Find the green “JOIN” button near the top of the screen
  3. Complete the form with your personal and contact information
  4. Select “Go to step 2 of 2” and set your login credentials
  5. Optional: apply any desired responsible gambling limits here
  6. Agree to the site’s T&Cs – make sure you’ve understood them
  7. Click “CONFIRM REGISTRATION” to wrap up the process

Straight after registration, you’ll see a link to verify your details. Get your passport, driving licence or Medicare information ready – you must complete this step before you can fund your account or place any bets.

PandaBet Review – Final Verdict

In truth, the release of PandaBet had initially passed us by. It’s one of several brands managed by Betting Services Australia Pty Ltd, all of which look similar, with the same odds and features. Many were also released around the same time.

Having now taken time to review it, we can confirm it’s just another near-identical clone. There’s nothing especially notable about PandaBet, but it’s a solid choice for low-stakes punters, or anyone who may be new to sports betting.

Withdrawals are quick, the sport and market coverage is acceptable and, for the most part, the odds are average. Soccer fans should look elsewhere, but the NRL prices are pretty competitive.
