What is the PuntZone Sign Up Code?

GoBet’s exclusive PuntZone referral code or affiliate code is GOBET and you can apply this code during the signup process.

Although PuntZone launched in October 2024, we’ve only just got around to reviewing it. It’s owned by Betting Services Australia Pty Ltd, a company that runs several betting sites in Australia, all of which use the GenerationWeb platform.

As a result, the website is basic, but easy to use. It lacks some features, as you’ll discover in this PuntZone review. But it’s decent for small-stakes punters, and a good place for newbies to get started.

About PuntZone

Launched in October 2024, PuntZone is still fairly new. It’s one of at least four sites known to be operated by Betting Services Australia Pty Ltd, including PandaBet, NinjaBet and DashBet.

Although the layout is similar to JustBet, that particular brand is not part of the Betting Services Australia Pty Ltd family. It does, however, use the same white label betting platform at PuntZone, which is provided by GenerationWeb.

Is PuntZone a Trustworthy Betting Site?

Absolutely. Betting Services Australia owns several betting sites, all licensed by Liquor and Gaming NSW. They’re also regulated by the New South Wales Greyhound Welfare and Integrity Commission, and governed by the South Australian Gambling Codes of Practice.

Betting Services Australia has been around since May 2021, registered with ABN 21 649 987 735.

PuntZone Online Betting Platform Review

Okay, let’s get into the guts of this PuntZone betting site review. The headline is this – it’s not the most in-depth platform, but it’s pretty good.

When we put this review together, there were 16 sports betting categories, plus greyhound, harness and thoroughbred horse racing. Big-name sites like Unibet normally have 25+ sports – though admittedly, there’s lots of obscure stuff that most Aussies wouldn’t care about.

Markets and Odds

The market depth is solid – expect around 60 betting opportunities per AFL game, for example. That’s more than some names on our list of betting sites, but considerably less than the 240+ offered by Neds.

When it comes to odds, it’s really hit and miss. The soccer pricing, for instance, is particularly egregious. Even the biggest matches, like EPL, La Liga and Champions League games, are priced at 115%. A 15% margin for the bookmaker is really having a laugh, so we’d recommend looking elsewhere for soccer bets.

Decent NRL and AFL Odds

For Australia’s most popular sports, the pricing is much more in line with the rest of the market.

NRL games are priced to around 106.5%, which isn’t far behind the big boys. Pointsbet has one of the lowest rugby league margins we’ve seen, at just 4.5%, while most of the best-known sites are 105% to 106%.

This is also true for AFL games, where the sites with the biggest odds bet in the region of 105%. PuntZone’s odds are set around 106.5%, so they’re not usually best priced, but are in the right ballpark.

Basic Features

It’s possible to place Same Game and Same Race Multis at PuntZone, but honestly, that’s no longer a “nice to heave” feature. These days, any bookmaker without it is destined to fail.

We couldn’t find early cashout, nor were there any live streams available for viewing. Those of you who like to bet on esports will also be disappointed.

Payment Methods at PuntZone

The selection of deposit and withdrawal methods is limited, but the most important options are covered. Check the table below to see what we mean:

Payment MethodDepositWithdrawal
Debit Card
PayID
Bank Transfer
Cash in branch

Deposit from just $10 using any of these methods, including cash at your local National Australia Bank branch. The minimum withdrawal requirement is also $10, with no transaction fees involved.

EFT is the only withdrawal option, but these are generally fast. Any request submitted before 11am will almost certainly be received on the same day. At most, you’ll wait for 4 hours, but don’t forget bank transfers aren’t processed over weekends and public holidays.

Is There a PuntZone Mobile App?

There is a PuntZone sports betting app, but it lacks quality. At the time of writing, the iOS software had a rating of just 3.0 out of 5. For comparison, Betr has one of the best mobile betting apps in Australia, scoring 4.6* in the App Store.

Android users can also download native software, though it’s currently unrated on Google Play. That particular application has only been downloaded around 500 times, so it’s still early days.

PuntZone Promo Codes

Australia’s strict regulations mean you need to log in to see the latest bonuses and promotions. Betting sites like PuntZone can’t encourage people to sign up and gamble, so they must be extremely cautious.

Upon logging in, you’re likely to see a few different offers, if any are available to you.

Aside from these ongoing promotions, you will not see any PuntZone deposit match bonus codes, as these have been illegal in Australia since 2019. You can, however, use our affiliate referral code GOBET. It won’t get you a bonus, but it helps support this site and the work we do.

Customer Support at PuntZone

Based on our experience, the customer support at PuntZone is good. We’ve had two interactions with live chat agents, both of which went smoothly, with minimal waiting times.

However, if we’re critical, it’s disappointing to see anything other than 24/7 support. PuntZone agents are only accessible between 8am and 11pm Sydney time.

Outside that window, you’re limited to emailing help@puntzone.com.au, though you won’t get a reply until the following morning. PuntZone doesn’t offer telephone support.

How to Create a PuntZone Account

As we near the end of this PuntZone site review, here’s a step-by-step guide on how to sign up:

  1. Head to the PuntZone website – use our links to get there
  2. Click the gold-coloured “Join” button at the top of the screen
  3. Enter your name, DOB and contact details in step 1
  4. Press “Go to step 2 of 2” to move on when finished
  5. Now choose a valid username and password
  6. Don’t forget to set a deposit limit (if you want to)
  7. Agree to the Ts&Cs, then hit “CONFIRM REGISTRATION”

Your account is created right away, but you can’t do much with it besides browse the odds. Deposits and other features are only unlocked after completing the verification process.

Follow the link provided after registration, then upload a valid identity document from the list. Options include passport, driving license and Medicare details.

PuntZone Site Review – Final Verdict

Like all sites managed by Betting Services Australia Pty Ltd, PuntZone is solid but unspectacular.

You’re not going to find hundreds of betting opportunities per game, so if you’re after something exotic, this isn’t the site for you. However, if you just want a bog‑standard bet on the footy – or a Same Game Multi at most – PuntZone is certainly worth a look.

The user interface is intuitive and has a familiar feel, plus you can open an account in just a few minutes. On the other hand, the mobile app isn’t great, and some of the odds are really bad – we’re looking at you, soccer.

Because PuntZone is a fairly new betting site, we’re prepared to make some allowances. But if our rating is to improve, we need to see a few tweaks.
