A Brief History of RipperBet

RipperBet.au is one of several online betting sites under the MintSports Pty Ltd umbrella. This company, registered with ABN 65 665 918 543, has been around since February 2023, though RipperBet only debuted in September 2025.

If you recognise the site design, that might be because it’s built on the Punterstech platform. This white-label software is used by many other Aussie bookmakers, including other MintSports brands like Bet Dragon, Bet Alpha and BetBuzz.

Pros

Legal and licensed Aussie business Competitive odds on 15 to 20 sports Same-day withdrawals are possible

Cons

More banking options would be good Live chat only offered 10am to 10pm No way to cash active bets out early Doesn’t have esports betting markets

Is RipperBet a Trustworthy Betting Site?

You can certainly trust RipperBet. The parent company has been running online betting sites for several years now without an issue. But it’s also a legal and licensed business, regulated by the Northern Territory Racing and Wagering Commission.

For residents of South Australia, RipperBet adheres to the South Australian Gambling Codes of Practice. And like all legal bookies in Australia, the site is integrated with BetStop, the country’s self-exclusion program.

Other responsible gambling options include deposit limits, temporary account blocks and permanent self-exclusion. These are always a sign of a trustworthy bookmaker.

RipperBet Online Betting Platform Review

Because RipperBet uses the Punterstech platform, you know exactly what you’re going to get. It’s easy to navigate, for instance, with an intuitive and well-designed best slip, plus a number of modern features like Same Game Multis.

We also really like the “Black Book”, where you can monitor your favorite horses and dogs, complete with notifications when they’re due to race.

However, this software also lacks a few elements that we’d like to see added in future. Our main gripe is that there’s no cashout. But RipperBet also lacks live streamed events, in-play odds and esports markets. If you want the latter, by the way, Picklebet is a great shout.

Competitive Odds

The odds are generally quite good at RipperBet, though it does vary by sport. As you might expect from an Aussie bookmaker, the NRL and AFL odds are most competitive, with win lines priced around 106%.

It’s true that you’ll get better odds at Pointbet and EliteBet, but 106% is a fair margin that compares well against similar sites. BetFocus, WizBet and Unibet are just a few bookies that bet to the same figure.

Ripperbet Sports and Markets

Depending on the time of year, you’ll find anywhere from 15 to 20 sports on the site, including a full thoroughbred, harness and greyhound racing service.

Market depth is reasonable – expect more than 50 markets per AFL and NRL game, for example. While that’s more than enough to satisfy your average punter, bigger sites like Ladbrokes offer almost five times as many betting opportunities.

Payment Methods at RipperBet

Like a lot of bookies on the PuntersTech platform, including BetReal, TradieBET and Betfocus, the choice of payment methods at RipperBet is pretty slim. You can only deposit using a debit card, Apple Pay or PayID, and all withdrawals are processed by bank transfer.

Payment MethodDepositWithdrawal
Debit Card
Apple Pay
PayID
Bank Transfer

The minimum transaction limits are more than reasonable, though – it’s $10 for deposits and withdrawals alike. And you won’t be charged any sneaky hidden fees, either.

Deposits are instant, but payouts are processed in batches:

  • Monday to Friday: twice daily (11am and 4pm)
  • Saturday (excluding holidays): once daily (11am)
  • Sunday: No withdrawal processing

Once approved, the funds could hit your account within a couple of hours, depending on your bank. As such, same-day withdrawals are theoretically possible, though some financial institutions may require up to 48 hours.

Is There a RipperBet Mobile App?

RipperBet does indeed have a sports betting app, and the early reviews from users are good. At the time of writing, the Android app scores 4.1 out of 5 on Google Play, while its iOS counterpart has a 4.2 rating in the App Store.

Given how new the mobile application is, we’re not entirely confident in this feedback just yet. After all, the ratings are based on just 16 and 46 reviews, respectively.

Promo Codes at RipperBet

RipperBet has one thing in common with our entire list of Australian betting sites – the lack of welcome bonus codes. That’s due to the changes made in 2019 to the National Consumer Protection Framework, which banned bookies from advertising signup offers.

Regular punters can benefit from ongoing promotions, but you’ll have to log into your account to see what they are.

Affiliate referral codes are a thing at RipperBet, though. These don’t get you any sort of bonus, but they’re a way to show your support and appreciation for content creators like us. Please consider signing up with the referral code GOBET500.

Customer Support at RipperBet.au

The RipperBet support team is on hand to assist between the hours of 10am and 10pm. You can drop an email to support@ripperbet.au, or for a quicker reply, use the integrated live chat widget.

While researching our RipperBet review, we spoke to a helpful live chat agent named “Knackers”. They answered our question about the minimum withdrawal amount – it’s $10, by the way – within two minutes.

But never mind that. Can we just take a moment to acknowledge the fact that the agent is called Knackers? Strewth!

How to Create a RipperBet Account

As we near the end of our RipperBet betting site review, here’s how to register a new account:

  1. Visit www.ripperbet.au in your browser or click a link on this page
  2. Click the white “Join” button in the top-right corner of the screen
  3. Fill out the 14 required fields, including name and contact details
  4. Please include the promo code GOBET500 – this helps support us
  5. Read and acknowledge the terms and conditions before continuing
  6. Press the green button marked “Create Account” to finish up

Your details will now be verified automatically using greenID. If they’re unrecognised, you’ll need to contact the support team through live chat and provide two forms of identification. Acceptable examples include your driver’s licence, passport or Medicare Card.

RipperBet Site Review – Final Verdict

We do like RipperBet, but we’d be lying if we said it was the best online bookmaker in Australia. To claim that crown, we’d need to see a few additional features – live streams and cashout would be a start – and slightly bigger odds.

That said, the AFL and NRL prices are already pretty good, holding up fairly well against the country’s biggest and best-known names. Even sports like handball and darts have pretty solid odds.

There’s brownie points for the easy-to-use bet slip, quick registration process and fast bank transfers, too.

Although RipperBet would be the perfect choice for new punters, veterans might bemoan the aforementioned missing elements. But the site is still very new, and you never know what’s around the corner.
