NFL Week 6 Tips

Friday 15/10/21

11:20am Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Philadelphia Eagles @ Lincoln Financial Field

The Buccaneers are going about their business in fine style and we can’t see them losing to the Eagles.

Philadelphia did well to come back and beat Carolina last week, mostly thanks for the defence. The offence was still terrible, and that’s not a good sign against Tom Brady.

We don’t think seven points is enough for the Eagles, so take the favourites.

Betting tip: Tampa Bay Buccaneers –7 @ $1.94Bet @ Sportsbet

12:30am Miami Dolphins vs Jacksonville Jaguars @ Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

We can’t remember the last time Jacksonville won a game, which isn’t a good statistic to read into.

They will look to win in London, which is a familiar ground. However, they are facing the Miami Dolphins, who should be tough to beat.

With only one win and nine losses between them, we wouldn’t be surprised with either team winning. Take Miami because there are too many distractions at the Jaguars.

Betting tip: Miami Dolphins @ $1.52Bet @ Sportsbet

4:00am Green Bay Packers vs Chicago Bears @ Soldier Field

Green Bay has recovered nicely after an awful start, and it looks good against the Chicago Bears.

Despite the Bears producing the goods last week and being 2-0 at home, there are problems at the quarterback position, which Aaron Rodgers and the Packers can take advantage of.

Punters get a good line with the Packers, so we think they’ll be too strong.

Betting tip: Green Packers -4.5 @ $1.90Bet @ Sportsbet

Packers by 12

4:00am Cincinnati Bengals vs Detroit Lions @ Ford Field

Nothing is going right for the Detroit Lions after losing consecutive games on last second field goals. It even made their coach cry, which isn’t something you want to see.

The future is brighter for the Bengals, who are 3-2. Joe Burrow has looked good, and despite being on the road, we’re not backing the Lions.

The current line is 3.5, which favours Bengals’ backers.

Betting tip: Cincinnati Bengals –3.5 @ $1.90Bet @ Sportsbet

Bengals by 10

4:00am Houston Texans vs Indianapolis Colts @ Lucas Oil Stadium

We’re not sure how the Colts lost after leading by 16 points late against Baltimore, but that’s what bad teams do.

Carson Wentz just isn’t getting it done for the Colts, but the 1-4 Houston Texans aren’t inspiring punters either.

It comes as no surprise to see the Colts favoured by almost a double-digit line, but they must be low on confidence, so take the Texans to cover the spread.

Betting tip: Houston Texans –9.5 @ $1.90Bet @ Sportsbet

Colts by 3

4:00am Los Angeles Rams vs New York Giants @ MetLife Stadium

New York hasn’t made a good start and they could be without Daniel Jones and running back Saquon Barkley for the foreseeable future.

That leaves the Rams in a good position to extend their record to 5-1, and we expect the Rams to score a comfortable win.

The current line is 10.5, and we can see that moving to around 12.5 come game time.

Betting tip: Los Angeles Rams –10.5 @ $1.90Bet @ Sportsbet

Rams by 14

4:00am Kansas City Chiefs vs Washington Football Team @ FedEx Field

There is trouble with the Kansas City Chiefs, who are 2-3 and in danger of not making the playoffs in a tough division.

Patrick Mahomes has been good, but his receivers haven’t lived up to expectations. However, they are a better team than Washington, so moving to 3-3 is possible.

Bookmakers have a –7 line available, which is worth taking before it moves.

Betting tip: Kansas City Chiefs -7 @ $1.90Bet @ Sportsbet

Chiefs by 10

4:00am Minnesota Vikings vs Carolina Panthers @ Bank of America Stadium

Carolina had a great chance to win last week but couldn’t come up with the goods. They have a solid team, but without Christian McCaffery, there is a big piece missing.

Minnesota scored a late field goal to just get past the Detroit Lions, but it’s good enough to keep the momentum going.

Punters get lovely odds for the Vikings, so we’re not turning them down.

Betting tip: Minnesota Vikings @ $1.84Bet @ Sportsbet

Vikings by 7

4:00am Tennessee Titans vs Jacksonville Jaguars @ TIAA Bank Field

The Titans suffered a shocking loss to the Jets last week, but they should get the better of Jacksonville on Monday.

The Jaguars looked to have the game won against the Bengals last week, but the lack of clutch play continues to haunt them. Coach Urban Meyer has been in the headlines for the wrong reasons, so it’s not a good situation.

We expect Derrick Henry to run all over them.

Betting tip: Tennessee Titans –4 @ $1.90Bet @ Sportsbet

Titans by 10

4:00am Los Angeles Chargers vs Baltimore Ravens @ M&T Bank Stadium

Baltimore produced a huge comeback against the Colts on Tuesday, but we can’t see a repeat happening against the Chargers.

Los Angeles were clutch in the fourth quarter when producing a big comeback against the Browns. It was a fantastic result, and it’s a team that could go all the way.

$2.28 for a 4-1 team that looks better than the Ravens is good shopping, so we’re taking the road dogs.

Betting tip: Los Angeles Chargers @ $2.28Bet @ Sportsbet

Chargers by 7

7:05am Arizona Cardinals vs Cleveland Browns @ FirstEnergy Stadium

The Cardinals are the only unbeaten team left in the competition and we think they’ll improve to 6-0 against the Browns.

Arizona’s offence has been too slick, and Kyler Murray has emerged as a premier quarterback. Despite that, bookmakers have Cleveland favoured to win despite losing to the Chargers last week.

Our money is going on the Cardinals to score a road win.

Betting tip: Arizona Cardinals @ $2.26Bet @ Sportsbet

Cardinals by 7

7:05am Las Vegas Raiders vs Denver Broncos @ Empower Field

Las Vegas is now 3-2 and it has just lost coach John Gruden. It’s a huge distraction for a team that finds a way to create controversy.

Denver, which has also slipped to 3-2, finds itself in a good position to score a win at home. The Broncos should get back on track, and punters get fair odds.

Take Denver at $1.53 in head-to-head markets.

Betting tip: Denver Broncos @ $1.53Bet @ Sportsbet

Broncos by 10

7:25am Dallas Cowboys vs New England Patriots @ Gillette Stadium

The Cowboys continue to impress and that could spell trouble for the Patriots, who scored a good comeback win last week.

Dallas improved to 4-1 and Dak Prescott is one of the more efficient quarterbacks in the league after five games.

Bookmakers have Dallas as favourites to win, and although we like Mac Jones, facing this Cowboys team will be tough.

Betting tip: Dallas Cowboys -4 @ $1.90Bet @ Sportsbet

Cowboys by 10

11:20am Seattle Seahawks vs Pittsburgh Steelers @ Heinz Field

Pittsburgh surprised us with a home win last week, and they could kick on with it against a 2-3 Seattle outfit.

The Steelers are notoriously tough to beat at home, so it was good to see them get an overdue win at Heinz Field. That form could continue against the Seahawks, who are without Russell Wilson.

The current line is 4.5, which is generous for the home team.

Betting tip: Pittsburgh Steelers –4.5 @ $1.90Bet @ Sportsbet

Steelers by 14

Tuesday 19/10/21

11:15am Buffalo Bills vs Tennessee Titans @ Nissan Stadium

Buffalo is a team that should make a deep run this season, especially if Josh Allen continues to play at a high level.

We can’t say the same for the Tennessee Titans, who look good one minute and poor the next, so there is no consistency there.

The much safer bet is backing the Bills, despite being on the road.

Betting tip: Buffalo Bills –5.5 @ $1.90Bet @ Sportsbet

Bills by 8
