NHL Betting Tips

Washington Capitals vs. Boston Bruins @ TD Garden

The Washington Capitals travel to Boston having won their last three games. They scored wins over Pittsburgh and two against New Jersey, so the form reads well.

It has been a good season to date for the Capitals, which has a record of 12-5-4. They are scoring 3.43 goals per game and that will win them many games this season.

Nicklas Backstrom has been their best player with 25 points. He has netted 10 goals and 15 assists, which is well worth writing about.

Looking to counter Backstrom is Brad Marchand for the Boston Bruins. He has 10 goals and 13 assists, and his experience has led the Bruins to a 12-5-2 record.

With only one loss to its name at TD Garden, Boston will be tough to beat on Thursday. They will send out Tuukaa Rask in the net, who owns eight wins and three losses for the Bruins.

Both East Division teams are full of class and it should be a tight game, but give the edge to Boston.

Minnesota Wild vs. Las Vegas Golden Knights @ T-Mobile Arena

The Golden Knights have rediscovered their best form after notching three consecutive wins over Colorado, Anaheim and Minnesota.

Las Vegas meets Minnesota again for the second time after scoring a 5-4 win on the back of two goals from Max Pacioretty. He has now scored 10 goals this season and along with Mark Stone, they led the Golden Knights.

It was Minnesota’s first loss in five games after beating up the likes of San Jose and Colorado by a combined margin of 12-4. Those wins were full of class and they did well to score four goals in defeat against Las Vegas.

Vegas holds a home record of 9-2-1 and despite showing some shaky moments against Colorado two weeks ago, they have rebounded in fine fashion.

The Golden Knights have an advantage at the goaltender position. Marc-Andre Fleury already has 10 wins and only three losses this season. He has a goal average of 1.77, which is an impressive statistic.

There are plenty of positives for Minnesota, which is capable of bouncing back from defeat. We expect this to be a tight series and punters get value odds for the visitors.

The Wild is worth including in your NHL bets as an outsider pick.

Arizona Coyotes vs. Los Angeles Kings @ STAPLES Centre

The Coyotes and Kings are struggling to find traction this season but the Kings have at least won two in a row against Arizona.

Looking to avoid a three-game sweep are the Coyotes, which were beaten 3-1 and 4-3 last week. It snapped a two-game winning streak for the Coyotes, who had beaten Anaheim 4-3 on two occasions.

Los Angeles scored three consecutive wins over Arizona and St Louis before losing back-to-back games against Minnesota. The two losses came by a combined margin of 7-4 and they were competitive when losing 4-3 last week.

The Kings will be disappointed with a home record of 3-2-3, but they get a good chance to improve on that record. Dustin Brown has scored 11 goals and Anze Kopitar has 23 points, so there is plenty to get excited about.

There is no distinct advantage in the goaltending department, so we are going with the Kings to get back on track. They haven’t been playing too poorly and punters should get a good sight on Thursday.
