One of the most anticipated entertainment boxing fights is Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson, and they put on the gloves this Saturday.
Paul has had success as a boxer, fighting mostly retired MMA and boxers, and he’s up against another retired boxer in Tyson, albeit one of the greatest of all time.
Tyson is understandably the $2.95 underdog, with Paul at $1.40, in a fight that will attract plenty of headlines.

Paul vs Tyson Tips
Former Disney star Paul is 10-1 in the boxing ring, with is only loss coming to pro boxer and former Love Island contestant Tommy Fury.
Losing to Fury was expected, but Fury isn’t a highly regarded boxer, so Paul went straight back to fighting much easier opponents in Nate Diaz, Ryan Bourland, and Michael Perry. We’re not surprised he knocked Perry down three times, as Paul is physically better than most of his opponents.
The 27-year-old, nicknamed the ‘Problem Child’ could be a big problem for Tyson, who is well past his best, and it could be considered an unsafe fight for the former heavyweight champion. Tyson has had some recent health problems, which has seen this fight being postponed.
The 58-year-old ended his professional career with 50 wins, but he lost three of his last four fights. He lost to Danny Williams and Kevin McBride, and he was never the same boxer following a title fight loss to Lennox Lewis.
The $2.95 underdog shouldn’t be fighting a much younger Paul, who has the ability to knock him out. There could be an unwritten no-knockout rule, which wouldn’t be advertised, and we wouldn’t mind seeing that put in place.
Seeing Paul send a boxing legend to the canvas wouldn’t be a good look for exhibition boxing, so they could tough it out over the distance. However, as betting markets suggest, the fight going the distance isn’t favoured. It’s a $2.62 chance, but it could result in Tyson’s team throwing in the towel before it’s all said and done.
There is no other bet than Paul at $1.40. He’s much younger, and although not on the same level as Tyson when it comes to technique, Tyson isn’t the same man he used to be. That will be evident when he steps into the ring.
Bet: Jake Paul @ $1.40
Paul vs Tyson Prop Picks
We can see this fight going at least a few rounds before Paul applies the pressure and gets Tyson out of the ring.
We don’t think it will be a clean knockout for Paul, but Tyson could take too much damage to the body before his team throws in the towel to save the ageing fighter. It would be a sad sight either way, but there are good odds for Paul to win by TKO.
He is a $2.25 chance to win by KO or TKO, which is worth including in boxing picks this week. A decision win to Paul pays $4.33, which is a value price, but we can’t see Tyson standing on his own two feet for that long.
If Paul shows no mercy and goes for the knockout, it’s a fight he could win in the first minute. Tyson’s reaction speed is terrible compared to what it used to be, and he might not even see the final punch coming.
It’s an eight-round fight, and there is good value in Paul winning in Round 5. He will want to give the paying fans something to see before ending the fight, and Round 5 is a good time to finish it. Punters get $13.00 for a Round 5 finish, so it’s worth the risk.
Bet: Paul in Round 5 @ $13.00
