There are only eight sides left in the 2025/26 edition of the Champions League and the stakes continue to rise.

With the likes of Real Madrid, PSG, Bayern Munich and Arsenal all still in the mix, each one of the remaining four ties promises to be a whopper and there is simply no margin for error for any of the sides left in the mix.

These two-legged affairs tend to bring out the very best in the big names in each team and there are four mouth-watering ties on paper, with the Champions League semi-final beckoning.

A colossal Champions League tie looks to be on the cards here, as Real Madrid take on Bayern Munich at the Bernabeu. Real overpowered Manchester City across two legs to reach the last eight and they look well placed to kick on at home here. Bayern meanwhile are clear of the chasing pack in the Bundesliga and are arguably the form side across European football currently. All three results feel as if they are in play here and both sides will be confident but neither side will want to lose the tie here, making the draw a decent prediction.

Defeats in domestic cups have checked Arsenal’s progress in recent weeks and things don’t look as if they will get any easier here, as they travel to Portugal to take on Sporting Lisbon. The hosts came through a stern test against Bodo/Glimt, producing a memorable Champions League comeback and they are very tough side to beat at home. Arsenal meanwhile have been imperious in the Champions League so far this season and have their sights on the main prize. This may be a cagey one, with Arsenal most likely to sneak the first leg win.

Having just played each other at the weekend in La Liga, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid square off again in the Champions League. Barcelona saw off Newcastle with ease in the last 16 and will be purring here, while Atletico should also be super confident, after easily dispatching of Tottenham at the same stage.
