Manchester City’s capitulation last time out has continued the intrigue associated to the Premier League title race this season – but with a 13 point lead and only 6 games remaining, Pep Guardiola’s men look to have things wrapped up. Elsewhere there were wins for Tottenham and Arsenal who heaped pressure on Chelsea who dropped points again – this time at the hands of rivals West Ham and Liverpool who couldn’t find a way past local rivals Everton.
Southampton, Stoke and West Brom all dropped points again last week and the gap between those three teams and the rest of the pack continues to widen.
Here are our picks for the next round of fixtures in the Premier League:

21:30 Southampton vs Chelsea – St Mary’s Stadium
These two teams meet for the first of two crucial clashes this week. Southampton are immersed in the relegation picture and Mark Hughes looks to have a real job on his hands at St Mary’s. Next week’s FA Cup semi-final at Wembley will provide a welcome distraction but the Saints need to start picking up points fast if they are to avoid the drop after their pain staking defeat at Arsenal last time out. Antonio Conte looks to be limping towards the end of his Chelsea reign with his charges currently 10 points adrift in the race for Champions League football next term. Last week’s 1-1 draw with West Ham was indicative of their season and they only realistically have the FA Cup as a target this term so they will want to put down a marker here.
Betting tip: Chelsea to win the match and both teams to score ($4.5) – BET NOW
Chelsea to win 2-1
00:00 Burnley vs Leicester City – Turf Moor
Leicester City ($3.46)
Two of the better performers this season face off in Lancashire in what promises to be an excellent game. The Clarets have been so impressive this season – sitting in 7th place, only 5 points behind Arsenal leaving Sean Dyche in contention as one of the managers of the year in the Premier League following their latest win – 2-1 at Watford. Leicester have fired up the league under Claude Puel and currently sit in 8th position after an impressive second half of the campaign but they will be eager to bounce back from their disappointing home defeat to Newcastle last weekend. This should be a very even game between two well matched teams.
Betting tip: The match to end as a draw and both teams to score ($4.25) – BET NOW
00:00 Crystal Palace vs Brighton – Selhurst Park
Crystal Palace ($2)
South London rivalry takes centre stage on Saturday afternoon with Brighton travelling to Croydon to face arch enemies Crystal Palace. Brighton currently sit 13th – 7 points above the relegation zone and Chris Hughton will be hoping his men can reach their 40 point target as soon as possible. For Palace and Roy Hodgson however, the threat of relegation is looming large with the Eagles currently only three points and one place above the drop zone – having played a game more than some of their competitors. This should be a fiery game between two good sides and it could well end with honours even.
Betting tip: Under 2.5 goals in the game ($2.75) – BET NOW
00:00 Huddersfield Town vs Watford – John Smith’s Stadium
Huddersfield Town ($2.35)
Two of the surprise packages in the Premier League face off on Saturday afternoon with their respective places in the top-flight not yet assured for next season. Huddersfield have impressed in the Premier League, the Terriers are 16th, with 32 points and will need to keep battling if they are to maintain their top-flight status and they are infamous for their good home atmosphere under David Wagner. Watford started the campaign incredibly well and despite a dip in form that cost Marco Silva his job, the Hornets sit 12th in the division with 37 points from 33 games played. This could be a very cagey encounter between two dogged sides fighting for their lives.
Betting tip: Huddersfield Town to win the match and both teams to score ($5.15) – BET NOW
Huddersfield Town to win 2-1
00:00 Swansea City vs Everton – Liberty Stadium
Swansea City ($2.85)
Mathematical survival is the order of the day in South Wales as Swansea aren’t clear of relegation trouble yet, with 32 points from 32 games they are on course to just avoid the drop but this has the feeling of an important game in their season. Everton have been uninspiring under Sam Allardyce in recent weeks and they don’t appear to have much to play for but they performed well last week to draw with Liverpool in the Merseyside Derby. Swansea are a resilient bunch and they could capitalise here and clinch a crucial 3 points.
Betting tip: Swansea to win the match and over 2.5 goals in the game ($6.75) – BET NOW
Swansea to win 2-1
02:30 Liverpool vs Bournemouth – Anfield
Liverpool welcome Bournemouth to Anfield with the Reds riding the crest of a wave currently. Their 5-1 aggregate defeat of Manchester City in the Champions League in midweek evoked memories of the club’s glory years many moons ago and the reds will be looking to make sure they do not slip up in anyway here. The Cherries showed real determination last time out to salvage a point in injury time at home to Crystal Palace and Eddie Howe looks to have masterminded his charges to yet another season of top-flight football and they will be a real test for Liverpool. But with the formidable trio of Firmino, Salah and Mane Liverpool should have too much here and put the Cherries to bed.
Betting tip: Liverpool to win the game with a -2.5 Asian Handicap ($2) – BET NOW
Liverpool to win 4-1
04:45 Tottenham vs Manchester City – Wembley Stadium
Manchester City ($2.15)
The headline fixture of the weekend takes place on Saturday evening at Wembley. Spurs have had another fine season, epitomised by their resilient 2-1 win at Stoke last time out – and with Harry Kane returning from his injury lay-off, they look well set to finish in the top 4 this term. Pep Guardiola will be eager to see his team bounce back from their defeats to Manchester United and Liverpool as they travel to the home of English football. City are a staggering 13 points clear of the chasing pack domestically and a win here would help them take a crucial step towards their 3rd Premier League title and second trophy of the Guardiola era. City have shown serious signs of fatigue in recent weeks and Spurs could put them to the sword here.
Betting tip: Tottenham to win the match ($2.85) – BET NOW
Tottenham to win 2-1
22:30 Newcastle vs Arsenal – St James’s Park
Newcastle United ($5.5)
Two classic PL teams face off on Sunday in the North East as the season draws to a close in style. Newcastle have shown real resilience under Rafa Benitez and with 38 points to their name following their win at Leicester last time out, Premier League safety looks all but assured. Arsene Wenger looks to have put his tumultuous month of March behind him as his Arsenal side continue to impress in their quest of Europa League glory this season. They look too far adrift in the race for the top 4 domestically but will want to keep their strong run of form going here. With St James’s rocking and Arsenal distracted by European football, the Toon will fancy their chances of getting a point here.
Betting tip: Both teams to score and the match to finish as a draw ($6.75) – BET NOW
16.00 Manchester United vs West Bromwich Albion – Old Trafford
Manchester United ($1.17)
West Bromwich Albion ($33)
United will be firing on all cylinders following their famous comeback at Manchester City last week and Jose Mourinho’s men need to keep pushing in their pursuit of second place in the Premier League and Champions League qualification. Manager-less West Brom look totally doomed and resigned to playing Championship football next season. With many high earners on the books and an aging squad, the new manager looks to have a real task on their hands next season. They have only won 3 games all season and look to be playing solely for pride at the moment. This should be a procession for United.
Betting tip: Manchester United to win the match with a -2.5 Asian Handicap ($1.85) – BET NOW
Manchester United to win 3-0
20.00 West Ham United vs Stoke City – London Olympic Stadium
West Ham United ($2)
Stoke City ($6.25)
David Moyes has galvanised West Ham since his arrival at the end of last year. The Hammers are 14th, 7 points above the relegation zone and they will be relishing the chance to play in front of their home fans following their draw with Chelsea last time out. Chelsea need to appease their fans and should get the job done against a plucky West Ham side. The prospect of relegation has become very real for Paul Lambert and Stoke City who currently sit 19th in the table, 4 points from safety, with only 6 games left to play. Their performances have lacked energy and vigour all season and they could find West Ham a very tricky opponent with home support backing them.
Betting tip: West Ham to win the match and keep a clean sheet ($4.75) – BET NOW
West Ham United to win 2-0
