Sunday 28/10/18

12:00am Brighton vs Wolves – AMEX Stadium

Brighton ($3.12)

Wolves ($2.56)

Draw ($3.3)

Wolves will be looking to bounce back from their disappointing 2-0 home defeat at the hands of Watford as they travel to Brighton – who will be buoyed by their win at Newcastle last time out. Whilst both sides have enjoyed impressive starts to the season, their priorities are sure to be Premier League survival and they will need to keep winning games to preserve their top-flight status. With back to back wins over West Ham and Newcastle to shout about, things are looking up for Brighton who sit in 12th place in the Premier League – with 9 games played. Chris Hughton’s men have picked up 11 points so far and sit 6 points clear of the drop zone as they look to avoid the drop once again this season. Wolves are flying high in the Premier League, picking up 15 points from their opening 9 games to sit in 9th place in the table. They suffered a setback against Watford last time out but look to have a strong squad – capable of pushing to finish in the top 8 this season. This should be a very entertaining game between two sides possessing contrasting style and with both teams looking very even on paper this could end up being an entertaining draw at the AMEX.

Betting tip: The match to finish as a draw and both teams to score ($4.75) – BET NOW

1-1 Draw

12:00am Fulham vs Bournemouth – Craven Cottage

Fulham ($2.85)

Bournemouth ($2.5)

Draw ($3.8)

Struggling Fulham welcome high-flying Bournemouth to West London in what promises to be an intriguing battle between two of the leagues’ most forward-thinking sides. Whilst the season is very much in its primitive stages, there are crucial points to be obtained for both sides and fans and players of both clubs will see this one as a very winnable game. With only one win from their opening 9 games, Fulham have failed to light up the league that many though they would following a summer of significant spending. No team in the league has conceded as many goals as the Cottagers and last week’s 4-2 thumping at the hands of Cardiff will be grave cause for concern for all connected with the club. With 17 points to their name already, the Cherries sit 6th in the Premier League and Eddie Howe’s men have displayed real resolve and quality once again this term. Their home draw with Southampton is their only real disappointment in recent weeks – with 3 consecutive wins in all competitions boosting the morale around the club prior to the international break. With both teams so adept at attacking, this could be a hum dinger of a game which Bournemouth, with their sky high confidence levels should win to pile the pressure on Fulham.

Betting tip: Bournemouth to win the match and both teams to score ($4) – BET NOW

Bournemouth to win 3-1

12:00am Liverpool vs Cardiff City – Anfield

Liverpool ($1.12)

Cardiff City ($27)

Draw ($10)

Jurgen Klopp’s high-flying Liverpool got back to winning ways last time out against Huddersfield Town and they take on another struggling outfit in the form of Cardiff City at Anfield. The Bluebirds travel north, fresh off the back of their impressive 4-2 win over Fulham but Neil Warnock’s men will be all too aware of the difference in class on show here. The Reds have won 7 of their opening 9 games to their Premier League season and look well placed to challenge for the title. Jurgen Klopp’s summer of spending looks to be paying dividends and with confidence flying high at Anfield, it feels like they are on the verge of something special this season. Neil Warnock’s side had struggled to make an impact in their opening 8 games before an incredible 4-2 win over fellow promoted side Fulham last time out. They now have 5 points to their name and Premier League survival is sure to be their priority and they won’t be targeting games such as this in their survival bid. Liverpool are in good form in the Premier League and should have no issue in putting Cardiff to the sword in front of their home fans.

Betting tip: Liverpool to win the match to nil ($1.75) – BET NOW

Liverpool to win 3-0

12:00am Southampton vs Newcastle United – St Mary’s Stadium

Southampton ($2.1)

Newcastle United ($4)

Draw ($3)

Two struggling sides face off on Saturday as lowly Newcastle make the long trip to Southampton looking for crucial points in their relegation battle. Mark Hughes’s Saints are in a similar position with wins, points and goals hard to come by and they will want to be making use of home support in what has the makings of a relegation six-pointer. Currently sat in 16th place, with 7 points from their opening 9 games, it looks as if Mark Hughes may have his work cut out this term and the Welshman will need to use all of his experience and knowhow. The Saints are in the midst of a rotten run and with only one win all season they need to see results and performances improve very quickly to avoid a basement battle. The Toon have struggled so far this season, with only 2 points to their name from 9 games played, and Rafa Benitez looks to be a man under pressure. Their uninspiring defeat at the hands of Brighton last time out was real concern and they need to start finding form quickly. This could be a really fiery encounter, with both teams keen to avoid defeat which could well stifle the attacking threats and lead a cagey game that Southampton could well pinch.

Betting tip: Southampton to win the match and under 2.5 goals to be scored in the game ($3.8) – BET NOW

Southampton to win 1-0

12:00am Watford vs Huddersfield Town – Vicarage Road

Watford ($1.77)

Huddersfield Town ($5.44)

Draw ($3.44)

The high-flying Hornets got back to winning ways in style last time out and will be full of confidence as they welcome lowly Huddersfield Town to North London on Saturday afternoon. The Hornets have impressed for most of the season but continue to be blighted by inconsistency whilst Huddersfield have really struggled this term and are yet to win a Premier League game. The Hornets bounced back from a barren run last time out winning 2-0 at Wolves to curtail their 4 match winless run and having won their opening 4 matches too, they currently sit 7th. Javi Gracia’s men have suffered through inconsistency this season but continue to impress intermittently in order to stay in the top half of the league. The Terriers are enduring a tough start to the season; with only 4 goals scored and 3 points registered from their opening 9 Premier League matches. Despite a very gutsy showing last time out against Liverpool, the Terriers ended with nothing to show for it and look in real relegation trouble this season. Watford ended their rotten run last time out following an impressive start to the season and could kick back into gear over the next few weeks and should get a solid home win on the board here.

Betting tip: Watford to win the match to nil ($2.75) – BET NOW

Watford to win 2-0

2:30am Leicester City vs West Ham United – King Power Stadium

Leicester City ($2.1)

West Ham United ($3.85)

Draw ($3.5)

Two sides battling to finish in the top-half of the table face off on Saturday evening as Leicester City welcome West Ham United to the East Midlands. Both sides have endured inconsistent starts to their respective campaigns but with plenty of quality littered throughout both squads, it promises to be a highly entertaining encounter at the King Power Stadium. Inconsistency has blighted Leicester City’s season so far and Claude Puel will be keen to see his side put a run together – after losing their last two matches. With goals flying in at both ends, it promises to be a highly entertaining season at the King Power Stadium and the Foxes will be looking to improve on their current league standing of 11th. Another side struggling with consistency is West Ham who have lost their last two matches to leave them with only 7 points from their opening 9 games played. Wins over Everton and Manchester United suggested Manuel Pellegrini’s men were progressing but 1-0 defeats against Brighton and Tottenham have surfaces the cracks once more. Whilst both teams need the win, Leicester are a strong side in front of home support and with their pace and industry up in attacking areas, the Foxes should have too much for the Hammers here.

Betting tip: Leicester City to win the match and both teams to score ($4.33) – BET NOW

Leicester City to win 2-1

11:30pm Burnley vs Chelsea – Turf Moor

Burnley ($10)

Chelsea ($1.38)

Draw ($5)

Super Sunday kicks off in Lancashire with Maurizio Sarri’s unbeaten Chelsea travelling to Burnley in what looks to be a really intriguing encounter. Burnley have recovered from a shaky start in the league but were thumped 5-0 by Manchester City last time out whilst Chelsea have looked in good form in the Premier League and sit only 2 points off the top of the table. With 8 points to their name from 9 games played, Burnley will be looking to propel themselves up the league following a difficult start. Things are starting to look up for the Clarets who have bounced back by picking up 7 points from their last 4 games in the league but they were thumped by Manchester City last time out. Maurizio Sarri seems to have breathed new life into his charges – who are also progressing nicely in the Europa League and the Carabao Cup as well as sitting 3rd in the Premier League. The Blues have impressed so far this campaign but only maintained their unbeaten record in the 96th minute last time out against Manchester United in a classic 2-2 draw. Burnley need to start picking up points quickly but Chelsea are a really tough opponent and should get three more points in their title pursuit on Sunday afternoon.

Betting tip: Chelsea to win the match to nil ($2.15) – BET NOW

Chelsea to win 2-0

11:30pm Crystal Palace vs Arsenal – Selhurst Park

Crystal Palace ($4.3)

Arsenal ($1.9)

Draw ($3.8)

Roy Hodgson’s Crystal Palace are in desperate need of points following a barren run and they welcome in-form Arsenal to East London in what promises to be a fascinating clash of styles. Unai Emery has inspired Arsenal in recent weeks and the Gunners look like genuine top 4 contenders whilst Palace look to have yet another relegation scrap on their hands. With 7 points from their opening 9 games, Roy Hodgson will be hoping his side can put a stop to their run of three consecutive league defeats. The Eagles are 15th in the Premier League having endured a relatively poor start to the season thus far and will need the support of their fabled home fans. The Gunners are in fine form in all competitions and with the goals flowing, Unai Emery looks to have galvanised his side this season. Comfortable wins over Fulham and Leicester City see them sit 4th in the table, 2 points behind Manchester City and Liverpool. Crystal Palace are an exciting side but have been in poor form recently whilst Arsenal look unstoppable currently and should pick up 3 more points on the road here.

Betting tip: Arsenal to win the match and both teams to score ($3.3) – BET NOW

Arsenal to win 3-1

Monday 29/10/18

2:00am Manchester United vs Everton – Old Trafford

Manchester United ($1.75)

Everton ($5.2)

Draw ($3.9)

A North-West derby completes the Super Sunday picture as Marco Silva’s Everton travel to Salford to take on Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United. Both sides have endured mixed starts to their respective seasons and have failed to live up to expectations meaning this could be a really intriguing encounter between two very entertaining teams. Lack of consistency is blighting Manchester United’s season – with a win against Newcastle backed up with a 2-2 draw against Chelsea and a 1-0 loss to Juventus in the Champions League. The Red Devils sit 10th in the table, 9 points behind the top 2 and will need to improve quickly should they hope to compete in the upper echelons of the league this term. Three Premier League wins on the spin have boosted the Toffees to 8th in the Premier League table and they will be looking to push towards a top half finish. Marco Silva looks to be finally impacting his ideals on his players – who are looking very strong currently. Everton will take the game to United and will fancy their chances but the Red Devils, willed on by home support should have more than enough here in a crucial game for Jose Mourinho.

Betting tip: Manchester United to win the match and both teams to score ($3.5) – BET NOW

Manchester United to win 2-1

Tuesday 30/10/18

6:00am Tottenham vs Manchester City – Wembley Stadium

Tottenham ($4.6)

Manchester City ($1.75)

Draw ($4.2)

Monday Night Football promises to provide a classic from Wembley Stadium as high-flying Manchester City take on the potential airs to their throne Tottenham. Both sides have impressed so far this season and with the glare of the footballing world upon them, it should be an entertaining fixture. Both Mauricio Pochettino and Pep Guardiola will want to see their respective teams stick to their attacking principles, meaning it could be a fascinating evening at the home of football. Mauricio Pochettino’s men currently sit 5th in the table and despite uninspiring showings in the Champions League, look to be progressing again this term. Tottenham have won four Premier League games on the spin, beating Brighton, West Ham, Huddersfield and Cardiff City to push themselves back into Champions League contention. Following their 5-0 thumping of Burnley last time out, Manchester City sit top of the Premier League with 23 points from 9 games played. With a 3-0 win over Shakhtar Donetsk in midweek to boot, Pep Guardiola’s charges are currently purring and look set to be the team to catch again this season. Manchester City rightfully arrive in London as favourites but Spurs are a good side and will trouble City enough to potentially pinch a point. Both sides will be bang up for what looks to be the biggest game of the weekend and it could well end up honours even between two very strong sides.
