EPL Week 11 Predictions
Fulham vs Manchester United – Craven Cottage
Manchester United ($2.08)
Manchester United will be doing all they can to salvage something from this season, as they travel to Marco Silva’s Fulham. The Cottagers haven’t really been able to develop any sort of consistency this term but picked up a very good point at Brighton last weekend. United meanwhile find themselves in real strife, with a chastening Manchester derby defeat the toughest loss of the season so far and they need a response here. This should be tight but United should be able to get the job done.
Betting tip: Manchester United to win the match ($2.08)
Manchester United to win 2-1
Burnley vs Crystal Palace – Turf Moor
Crystal Palace ($2.75)
Struggling Burnley welcome Crystal Palace to Turf Moor, as they look to get some momentum into their campaign. Vincent Kompany’s outfit haven’t adapted well to the demands of the Premier League, and they look to be immersed in a relegation scrap already. Crystal Palace meanwhile are missing some key players through injury, and they are lacking a creative spark, but Roy Hodgson will be confident of being able to turn the tide. There won’t be much in this one and a draw looks likely.
Betting tip: The match to finish as a draw ($3.30)
Sheffield United vs Wolves – Bramall Lane
Sheffield United ($4)
Sheffield United host Wolves, with the Blades still looking for their first win of the season. Recent form in South Yorkshire has been hugely concerning for United, with big losses coming at the hands of Arsenal and Newcastle in recent weeks. Wolves meanwhile picked up another good result against a top team last weekend, holding Newcastle to a home draw and they will see this as another winnable game. Calling this one isn’t easy but perhaps Wolves should have the momentum to get them over the line.
Betting tip: Wolves to win the match ($2.05)
Wolves to win 2-1
Brentford vs West Ham United – Gtech Community Stadium
West Ham United ($3.50)
Two more London sides face off, as Brentford welcome West Ham to the Gtech Community Stadium. The Bees haven’t been at their best this term but big recent wins over Burnley and Chelsea have changed the mood in West London. By contrast, West Ham’s excellent start to the season has hit a bit of a bump in the road in recent weeks, with Everton holding firm to beat the Hammers last weekend and they need a response. There is very little between these sides and a draw looks likely.
Betting tip: The match to finish as a draw ($3.80)
Everton vs Brighton – Goodison Park
Buoyant Everton take on Brighton, in what should be a very entertaining game on Merseyside. The blues overcame West Ham impressively last weekend, and something appears to have clicked for Sean Dyche and his side. Brighton meanwhile are continuing to impress at this level, despite being held by Fulham last weekend and they have played with increased freedom on the road this term. Calling this one is tough but perhaps Brighton’s pace in attack could prove to be the difference between the sides.
Betting tip: Brighton to win the match ($2.23)
Brighton to win 2-1
Manchester City vs Bournemouth – Etihad Stadium
Manchester City ($1.12)
Manchester City looked back to their best in demolishing Manchester United last weekend, and they will be looking for more of the same against Bournemouth here. The blues had hit a rocky patch last month but 3 straight wins since the international break have boosted the mood around the Etihad. Bournemouth meanwhile also picked up a big win last weekend, overcoming Burnley and they will look to make this tough for City from the outset. This won’t be easy for as it looks for the blues, but they should get the job done.
Betting tip: Manchester City to win the match ($1.12)
Manchester City to win 3-1
Newcastle United vs Arsenal – St James’s Park
Newcastle United ($3.05)
Arsenal will be looking to continue their unbeaten start to the season, as they travel to Newcastle to take on the Toon. The Magpies haven’t hit the heights of last season thus far in the Premier League and the rigours of European football are perhaps being felt on Tyneside. Arsenal meanwhile look to have the bit between their teeth this season, ready to clinch their first league title since 2004 and they should pick up another important win here.
Betting tip: Arsenal to win the match ($2.50)
Arsenal to win 2-1
Nottingham Forest vs Aston Villa – City Ground
Nottingham Forest ($4.35)
Aston Villa ($1.91)
Aston Villa will be looking to continue their excellent start to the season, as they travel to Nottingham Forest. The Tricky Trees have been going pretty well under Steve Cooper and are targeting a top half finish come the end of the campaign. Aston Villa meanwhile are flying under Unai Emery, and they look ready to make another assault on European football this term. Forest will be bang up for this one, but Villa are a streetwise side outfit, who should come out on top here.
Betting tip: Aston Villa to win the match ($1.91)
Aston Villa to win 2-1
Luton Town vs Liverpool – Kenilworth Road
Luton Town ($12)
Liverpool will also be looking to continue their excellent start to the campaign, as they travel to Luton Town. The Hatters are enjoying their Premier League journey, without too much to show for it so far but the chance to take on Liverpool at home is a very enticing prospect for all associated with the club. Liverpool meanwhile do look back to their best this season, as they continue to fight on four fronts, and they should swat Luton aside here.
Betting tip: Liverpool to win the match ($1.27)
Liverpool to win 4-0
Tottenham vs Chelsea – Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
A huge London derby concludes the programme on Monday Night Football, as Tottenham take on Chelsea. Sat pretty at the top of the table, Tottenham are very much the team to beat this season and they are already dreaming of breaking their 60-year top-flight title duck. Chelsea meanwhile are continuing to struggle for consistency under Mauricio Pochettino, who returns to his old stomping ground. This will be all about the rampant Spurs, who should prevail comfortably here.
Betting tip: Liverpool to win the match ($2.23)
Tottenham to win 3-1
