2021-22 EPL Week 15 – Tips, Predictions & Odds

The crazy Premier League festive season is very much upon us, and the fixture list is packed for all the top teams in the division. Chelsea still find themselves top of the pile, whilst Manchester City and Liverpool won once again last time out to keep pace. Ralf Rangnick is the new man in the Manchester United hotseat, and he’ll be looking to revolutionise things at OId Trafford whilst Newcastle United are still the only side in the division without a win to their name this season.

Here are our picks for the next round of fixtures in the Premier League:

EPL Week 15 Tips

West Ham United vs Chelsea – London Olympic Stadium

West Ham United ($5)

Chelsea ($1.83)

Draw ($3.8)

A London Derby is first on the agenda in game week 15, as table topping Chelsea travel to high flying West Ham United. The Hammers have been in great nick all season under David Moyes and are into the knockout stages of the Europa League and the last 8 of the Carabao Cup – as well as comfortably in the top 6 of the Premier League. Chelsea meanwhile were made to work hard to beat Watford in midweek and look to be a side purring under Thomas Tuchel. Premier League glory has eluded the blues since 2017 and they look well placed to mount a real title challenge this season. This should be an excellent game, with Chelsea surely having enough in the bank to pick up three points here.

Betting tip: Chelsea to win the match ($1.83)Bet @ Sportsbet

Chelsea to win 2-1

Newcastle United vs Burnley – St James’s Park

Newcastle United ($2.38)

Burnley ($3.3)

Draw ($3.5)

A relegation six-pointer is on the agenda at St James’s Park as Newcastle United take on Burnley. Despite not managing to pick up a win at home to Norwich, Newcastle showed clear signs for improvement and picked up a potentially valuable point with only 10 men for over 80 minutes. They take on a Burnley side that are in the relegation scrap thanks to a bad start to the season, but they are more than capable of mixing it with the big boys and games such as this in recent seasons have been profitable for them. Newcastle will be band up for this, but Burnley are a tough nut to crack, and a draw looks the most likely outcome.

Betting tip: The match to finish as a draw ($3.5)Bet @ Sportsbet

1-1 Draw

Southampton vs Brighton – St Mary’s Stadium

Southampton ($2.58)

Brighton ($3.17)

Draw ($3.25)

A South Coast Derby of sorts is on the agenda on Saturday afternoon as Southampton host Brighton. The Saints have found points relatively hard to come by in recent weeks, but they are always a difficult side to break down and they will take confidence from their excellent point gained against Leicester City last time out. Brighton meanwhile showed real spirit to pick up a point on the road at West Ham last time out and they look to be a side chasing a top half finish under Graham Potter. There should be some decent football played here, between two good sides, with the draw looking the most plausible result.

Betting tip: The match to finish as a draw ($3.25)Bet @ Sportsbet

2-2 Draw

Wolves vs Liverpool – Molineux

Wolves ($8.5)

Liverpool ($1.45)

Draw ($5)

Liverpool will be looking to keep pace with Manchester City and Chelsea as they travel to Wolves. The hosts have really dug in recently and have found themselves mixing it with the big boys in the upper echelons of the Premier League table. They welcome a Liverpool side that thumped old rivals Everton last time out and are in excellent nick under Jurgen Klopp currently. This should be a really good game in the West Midlands and whilst Wolves will be bang up for this, Liverpool should pick up all three points.

Betting tip: Liverpool to win the match ($1.45)Bet @ Sportsbet

Liverpool to win 3-1

Watford vs Manchester City – Vicarage Road

Watford ($17)

Manchester City ($1.23)

Draw ($7.8)

Champions Manchester City will be looking to continue their recent winning streak as they travel to Watford. The Hornets pushed Chelsea all the way last time and look to be a side improved under Claudio Ranieri, but this will be an altogether more difficult task. City are in excellent nick, having won their last 6 games played and they look to be coming good in the festive period once more under Pep Guardiola. This should be an excellent game in North London and whilst Watford will make it difficult, City should pick up a solid win here.

Betting tip: Manchester City to win the match ($1.23)Bet @ Sportsbet

Manchester City to win 3-1

Leeds United vs Brentford – Elland Road

Leeds United ($1.95)

Brentford ($4.2)

Draw ($3.8)

Leeds United will be looking to build on their last gasp win over Crystal Palace last time out as they host Brentford. The whites are a side in need of developing consistency this season under Marcelo Bielsa and they will be doing all they can to start piecing some results together here. Brentford meanwhile were well beaten by Tottenham in midweek and the reality of the Premier League appears to be catching up on them slightly. They are a decent side though and they will have a real crack at Leeds, making the draw a very likely outcome in Yorkshire.

Betting tip: The match to finish as a draw ($3.8)Bet @ Sportsbet

1-1 Draw

Manchester United vs Crystal Palace – Old Trafford

Manchester United ($1.63)

Arsenal ($6.5)

Draw ($4.33)

Manchester United will be looking to get off to a winning start under Ralf Rangnick, as they take on Patrick Vieira’s Crystal Palace. The Red Devils dug deep to beat Arsenal in midweek and picked up a good point against Chelsea, but their overall level of play and results has been way off the pace this season. They will be hoping for an improvement in their fortunes under Rangnick and Crystal Palace will provide a stern test. The Eagles were outdone late on by Leeds last time out but are a side very capable of hitting their opponents on the break. Palace will make this tricky to United but the sense of euphoria around the club should see them through here.

Betting tip: Manchester United to win the match ($1.63)Bet @ Sportsbet

Manchester United to win 2-1

Tottenham Hotspur vs Norwich City – Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Tottenham ($1.44)

Norwich City ($8.8)

Draw ($5)

Antonio Conte will be looking for his side to build on their win over Brentford, as they take on lowly Norwich City. Spurs have made slow and steady improvements under the Italian but look to have an outside shot of making the top 4 come the end of the campaign. Norwich City meanwhile were unable to get the job done on the road at Newcastle last time out and look to be relegation candidates, despite the arrival of Dean Smith. This could be tighter than people expect in North London, but Tottenham should pick up all three points.

Betting tip: Tottenham to win the match ($1.44)Bet @ Sportsbet

Tottenham to win 2-0

Aston Villa vs Leicester City – Villa Park

Aston Villa ($2.5)

Leicester City ($3)

Draw ($3.5)

Two sides with top half aspirations face off in the West Midlands as Aston Villa take on Leicester City. Villa experienced defeat for the first time under Steven Gerrard to champions Manchester City last time out but they have improved of late and look to be a side with a plan and going places. Leicester City meanwhile just can’t find the consistency needed to push for the top 6 this season, epitomised by their 2-2 draw at Southampton last time out. This should be a very good game and the draw looks to be the best bet here.

Betting tip: The match to finish as a draw ($3.5)Bet @ Sportsbet

1-1 Draw

Everton vs Arsenal – Goodison Park

Everton ($3.65)

Arsenal ($2.25)

Draw ($3.8)

The pressure continues to mount on Rafa Benitez, as his Everton side welcome Arsenal to Goodison Park. The Toffees are injury stricken but have struggled for consistency and form of late and the sharks appear to be circling for Benitez, especially after the Merseyside Derby humbling in midweek. Arsenal meanwhile have vastly improved on their early season form under Mikel Arteta but defeats to Liverpool and Manchester United in their last few games have checked their progress somewhat. This should be an excellent Monday Night Football contest but with confidence low in the Everton camp, Arsenal should prevail here.

Betting tip: Arsenal to win the match ($2.25)Bet @ Sportsbet

Arsenal to win 2-1
