EPL Week 19 Predictions
Newcastle United vs Nottingham Forest – St James’s Park
Newcastle United ($1.54)
Nottingham Forest ($7)
Having faltered again at Luton Town last time out, Newcastle United will be looking to get back to winning ways against Nottingham Forest. Toon are competing in just the Premier League and FA Cup now this season and have work to do if they are to crack the top 4. Nottingham Forest meanwhile are under new management in Nuno Espirito Santo and need to start picking up points quickly. The Toon Army need a win here and they should get one against a Forest side searching for form.
Betting tip: Newcastle United to win the match ($1.54)
Newcastle United to win 3-1
Bournemouth vs Fulham – Vitality Stadium
Two sides looking to crack the top half this season face off as Bournemouth welcome Fulham. The Cherries have been in fine fettle of late and they are starting to really click, particularly in front of goal. Fulham meanwhile always have plenty of goals in the tank and they will want to put in a response after losing at home to Burnley last time out. This should be a very watchable game, with Bournemouth perhaps looking well placed to edge it at home.
Betting tip: Bournemouth to win the match ($2.25)
Bournemouth to win 2-1
Sheffield United vs Luton Town – Bramall Lane
Sheffield United ($2.43)
Luton Town ($3.15)
A couple of relegation candidates do battle in South Yorkshire as Sheffield United and Luton Town square up. The Blades have Chris Wilder in charge now and have seen a serious upturn in results ever since. Luton Town meanwhile are a very plucky side, who continue to punch above their weight at this level and survival looks to be a very realistic objective for them. This should be a very good one here, with a draw the potential outcome in this one.
Betting tip: The match to finish as a draw ($3.40)
Burnley vs Liverpool – Turf Moor
A resurgent Burnley side will be out to test themselves against the big boys, as they welcome Liverpool. The Clarets have been finding form under Vincent Kompany and they now look to have a realistic chance of survival. Liverpool meanwhile are hot pursuit of Arsenal at the top of the table and simply need to keep winning. Burnley should be bang up for this one in front of their home fans, but Liverpool are just running a bit too hot at the moment.
Betting tip: Liverpool to win the match ($1.42)
Liverpool to win 3-1
Manchester United vs Aston Villa – Old Trafford
Manchester United ($2.70)
Aston Villa ($2.70)
Aston Villa will be eager to put their title charge on the line as they travel to Manchester United. For the Red Devils, winning games is their perceived currency but this season they have been way off the pace in the Premier League. Travelling Aston Villa will be out to show their worth in the title race and a win here at Old Trafford would make people stand up and take note. This should be a really good one, with both sides perhaps happy to settle for a draw.
Betting tip: The match to finish as draw ($3.60)
Chelsea vs Crystal Palace – Stamford Bridge
Crystal Palace ($6.10)
The pressure is mounting on Chelsea and their manager Mauricio Pochettino, as they take on Crystal Palace. For the blues, climbing away from mid table obscurity will be their aim and recent results haven’t been too inspiring. Crystal Palace meanwhile continue to pick up good results against the so-called bigger sides and won’t fear Chelsea at all here. This will be a very good London derby to watch, with Chelsea most likely to pick up a needed win.
Betting tip: Chelsea to win the match ($1.62)
Chelsea to win 2-1
Brentford vs Wolves – Gtech Community Stadium
Two more sides on the top half of the table push clash in West London, as Brentford host Wolves. The Bees will be rested after enjoying a week off and they should be raring to put on a show for their fans in this one. Wolves meanwhile come into this one following a big win against Chelsea, but their away form hasn’t been as impressive as their home this term. Calling this one is tough on paper, but Brentford could pick up a vital home win.
Betting tip: Brentford to win the match ($2)
Brentford to win 2-1
Everton vs Manchester City – Goodison Park
Manchester City ($1.62)
A resurgent Everton side will be relishing the chance to have a crack at a Manchester City side that are wobbling in the Premier League. The Toffees have endured a 10-point deduction, but they are clear of the relegation zone currently and their home form has been superb. Manchester City meanwhile have just been crowned the FIFA World Club Cup champions and they should take confidence from that one here. However, Goodison will be rocking, and Everton could pick up a famous win.
Betting tip: Everton to win the match ($6.10)
Everton to win 2-1
Brighton vs Tottenham – AMEX Stadium
Two of the entertainers in the Premier League clash on the South coast, as Brighton take on Tottenham. For the Seagulls, games such as this are their yard stick this season and they will want to close the gap on the sides above them this term. Tottenham meanwhile are firing under Ange Postecoglou this term and have top 4 aspirations of their own. This should be a belter, with Tottenham most likely to clinch all three points.
Betting tip: Tottenham to win the match ($2.70)
Tottenham to win 2-1
Arsenal vs West Ham United – Emirates Stadium
West Ham United ($9.50)
Another London derby concludes the schedule here, as Arsenal welcome West Ham United. A point at Liverpool saw Arsenal pick up the plaudits last time out, as their title bid has really started to take shape under Mikel Arteta. West Ham meanwhile are still plugging away in the Europa League and beat Manchester United impressively last time out. This will be one way traffic though, with Arsenal ready to pick up a home win.
Betting tip: Arsenal to win the match ($1.35)
Arsenal to win 3-1
