The Premier League returns following the FA Cup hiatus and it promises to be another action packed weekend for all clubs chasing honours and fighting the drop.

Arsenal are undoubtedly the team to beat, with a 5 point lead on the chasing pack and a game in hand, they very much have their destiny in their own hands.

Manchester City and Manchester United are leading the chasing pack behind them, with the likes of Newcastle and Tottenham in pursuit too.

Southampton, Everton, and Bournemouth are the three sides occupying the relegation places currently and they will all need to see results improve if they are to climb away from danger.

Here are our picks for the next round of fixtures in the Premier League 2022/23 season:

Premier League Week 22 Predictions

Chelsea vs Fulham – Stamford Bridge

Chelsea ($1.65)

Fulham ($5.8)

Draw ($4.25)

A West London Derby kicks off the programme, with Fulham coming into the game above Chelsea in the Premier League table. The blues have invested heavily in the January transfer window, smashing the British transfer record for Enzo Fernandez on Deadline Day. They will be hoping it turns around their fortunes, as they take on local rivals Fulham – a side that have been in superb nick this season. Marco Silva has overseen a revolution at Craven Cottage and he will want to see his side kick on between now and the end of the campaign. This should be an excellent game, between two good sides and it could be home advantage that sees Chelsea over the line.

Betting tip: Chelsea to win the match ($1.65) Bet @ Bet365

Chelsea to win 2-1

Everton vs Arsenal – Goodison Park

Everton ($9)

Arsenal ($1.46)

Draw ($4.75)

Table topping Arsenal will be eager to press home their advantage, as they travel to Everton. The Toffees now have Sean Dyche at the helm, as they look to get themselves out of relegation trouble quickly. Arsenal meanwhile are flying and are beginning to dream of a first league title in 20 years, but they will be all too aware of the problems Everton could pose for them in this one. This will be a lot tighter than the odds suggest and Everton will be raring to go at home, but Arsenal should just about prevail in this one.

Betting tip: Arsenal to win the match ($1.46) Bet @ Bet365

Arsenal to win 2-1

Aston Villa vs Leicester City – Villa Park

Aston Villa ($2.02)

Leicester City ($4)

Draw ($3.7)

Two sides that will be hoping to finish their respective seasons strongly face off as Aston Villa welcome Leicester City to Villa Park. Unai Emery has overseen an improvement in results at Villa in recent weeks, making them very tough to beat and he will be eager to see more of the same here. Leicester City meanwhile are a side in flux under Brendan Rodgers but they progressed in the FA Cup last weekend, a result that should give them confidence. This will be a tight one, but Villa have their backs up at home and they should pick up three points here.

Betting tip: Aston Villa to win the match ($2.02) Bet @ Bet365

Aston Villa to win 2-1

Brentford vs Southampton – Gtech Community Stadium

Brentford ($1.92)

Southampton ($4.5)

Draw ($3.7)

Brentford will be looking to keep their excellent run of form going as they take on Southampton. The Bees have been one of the bright lights in the Premier League this season and they will be eager to kick on during the second half of the campaign. Southampton by contrast have been poor this term and currently sit bottom of the table but there have been signs that Nathan Jones is turning the tide on the South coast. This should be a good one, with Brentford most likely to pick up the points at home.

Betting tip: Brentford to win the match ($1.92) Bet @ Bet365

Brentford to win 2-1

Brighton vs Bournemouth – AMEX Stadium

Brighton ($1.36)

Bournemouth ($10)

Draw ($5.5)

Brighton will be looking to continue their superb run of form as they welcome Bournemouth to the AMEX. The Seagulls are sitting pretty in 6th in the Premier League table and European football looks to be a genuine aspiration for them this term. Bournemouth meanwhile have slipped into the relegation zone under Gary O’Neill and every result they can pick up is potentially precious. This will be significantly closer than the odds suggest but Brighton should have enough about them to win at home here.

Betting tip: Brighton to win the match ($1.36) Bet @ Bet365

Brighton to win 3-1

Manchester United vs Crystal Palace – Old Trafford

Manchester United ($1.42)

Crystal Palace ($9.2)

Draw ($4.9)

Manchester United will be looking to keep pace with the sides above them as they take on Crystal Palace. Confidence should be high in the United camp following their run to the Carabao Cup final this season but this should be a good test against a side who took a point off them only a fortnight ago. Crystal Palace are very plucky, particularly on the road but they have lacked end product in recent weeks. United should be bang up for this one and three points look to be on the cards for the Red Devils here.

Betting tip: Manchester United to win the match ($1.42) Bet @ Bet365

Manchester United to win 3-1

Wolves vs Liverpool – Molineux

Wolves ($4.2)

Liverpool ($1.93)

Draw ($3.9)

Liverpool travel to Wolves, as they look to put their season back on track. Wolves have been a side improving under Julen Lopetegui and they look very difficult to break down, especially at home. Liverpool meanwhile have been abject in recent weeks and crashing out of the FA Cup was the latest in a catalogue of bad results on Merseyside. This should be a close one, with Wolves sure to be bang up for the fight but Liverpool should find form at some point, and it could well be here.

Betting tip: Liverpool to win the match ($1.93) Bet @ Bet365

Liverpool to win 2-1

Newcastle United vs West Ham United – St James’s Park

Newcastle United ($1.67)

West Ham United ($6.25)

Draw ($3.95)

Newcastle United will be looking to build on their run to the Carabao Cup Final, as they take on West Ham United. Toon are also in the hunt for a top 4 finish this season and they have been in fantastic nick throughout the campaign. West Ham by contrast have really struggled under David Moyes this season and they look to be immersed in a relegation battle. This should be a very good game, between two decent sides but the momentum is with Newcastle, and they should prevail in this one.

Betting tip: Newcastle United to win the match ($1.67) Bet @ Bet365

Newcastle United to win 2-0

Nottingham Forest vs Leeds United – City Ground

Nottingham Forest ($2.7)

Leeds United ($2.8)

Draw ($3.5)

Nottingham Forest host Leeds in what is a huge game for both teams. Forest crashed out of the Carabao Cup in midweek but Premier League survival has become their priority and results have started to improve in recent weeks. Leeds United meanwhile are also in the relegation mix and Jesse Marsch needs to see a response from his side. This should be a humdinger, with no quarter given and a draw looks to be the most likely outcome.

Betting tip: The match to finish as a draw ($3.5) Bet @ Bet365

1-1 Draw

Tottenham vs Manchester City – Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Tottenham ($4.5)

Manchester City ($1.76)

Draw ($4.2)

Tottenham take on Manchester City, in a match that has the potential to shape both teams’ seasons. Spurs have been faltering all year but they picked up a decent win in the FA Cup last time out and they will be dreaming of a cup run in addition to a top 4 finish. City meanwhile are still in the hunt for 3 trophies but their league bid could begin to fade if they don’t win games such as these. Tottenham have had the wood over City in recent seasons and that could continue here, with the draw perhaps on the cards.

Betting tip: The match to finish as a draw ($4.2) Bet @ Bet365

2-2 Draw
