Here are our picks for the next round of fixtures in the EPL:
Premier League Week 30 Preview
Chelsea vs West Bromwich Albion – Stamford Bridge
West Bromwich Albion ($17)
Chelsea will be looking to maintain their unbeaten start to life under Thomas Tuchel as they welcome West Bromwich Albion. The blues are banging on the door of a top 4 finish and with a FA Cup semi-final and Champions League quarter final to look forward to, it could transpire to be a superb season for Chelsea. The Baggies meanwhile have struggled all season and their league position of 19th very much reflects that. They find themselves 10 points from safety and with time running out, Sam Allardyce’s men look to be doomed. This could be a real procession for Chelsea and West Bromwich Albion could be put to the sword.
Betting tip: Chelsea to win the match ($1.24) Bet @ Sportsbet
Chelsea to win 3-0
Leeds United vs Sheffield United – Elland Road
Leeds United ($1.56)
Sheffield United ($6.8)
A classic Yorkshire derby looks to be on the cards as Leeds welcome Sheffield United to Elland Road. The whites have been a breath of fresh air in the Premier League this season and have troubled some of the biggest sides in the division. They currently find themselves residing in 11th and they will believe a top half finish is very much on the cards. Sheffield United meanwhile look to be all but relegated from the Premier League and with a 14-point gap to overturn in the final 9 games, they look to have their work cut out. Morale is low in the Sheffield United camp and Leeds could run riot in this one.
Betting tip: Leeds United to win the match ($1.56) Bet @ Sportsbet
Leeds United to win 3-0
Leicester City vs Manchester City – King Power Stadium
Leicester City ($6.8)
Manchester City ($1.6)
With a 14-point gap to the chasing pack behind them, Manchester City will be looking to make a decisive step in the title race as they travel to Leicester. The Foxes have been in superb form all season and their excellent win in the FA Cup over Manchester United underlined their progress this term. Finishing in the top 4 has now become their priority and they will see this as a huge game in the outcome of their season. Manchester City meanwhile continue to fight on four fronts and will be eager to get the title wrapped up as soon as possible. They were thumped by Leicester earlier in the season and they will be doing all they can to get revenge here. This could be a very good game with a draw looking the most likely result.
Betting tip: The match to finish as a draw ($4.4) Bet @ Sportsbet
Arsenal vs Liverpool – Emirates Stadium
Two Premier League giants face off as Arsenal host Liverpool, with both sides looking to climb the table as the season draws to an end. Arsenal’s league position of 9th will be hugely disappointing for Mikel Arteta but their recent resurgence has been encouraging for all associated with the club and the Gunners will be looking to build momentum heading into next term. Liverpool meanwhile are languishing down in 7th and they look to have their work cut out to finish in the top 4 this term. Results have been poor in the Premier League of late and Jurgen Klopp will be hoping his side can respond quickly. This should be a fantastic game in North London with Liverpool most likely to come out on top at the Emirates Stadium.
Betting tip: Liverpool to win the match ($2.32) Bet @ Sportsbet
Liverpool to win 2-1
Southampton vs Burnley – St Mary’s Stadium
Two sides nervously looking over their shoulder at the relegation picture face off as Southampton welcome Burnley. The Saints have endured an awful second half to the season and find themselves just 7 points above the drop zone as a result. They have a FA Cup semi-final to look forward to also and they will want to assure their top-flight status asap. Burnley meanwhile have been in great form of late and have climbed out of potential trouble and are level on points with their opponents here. Sean Dyche’s men have an effective playing style, and they will be eager to keep putting points on the board. This should be a decent game, with a draw looking the most likely outcome.
Betting tip: The match to finish as a draw ($3.4) Bet @ Sportsbet
Newcastle United vs Tottenham – St James’s Park
Newcastle United ($6)
Relegation threatened Newcastle welcome Tottenham, who themselves are chasing Champions League football next term. The Toon are slipping towards trouble with every game and their league standing of 17th is becoming a real concern. They have just a two point gap to Fulham below them and the pressure is ramped up on Steve Bruce and his side. Tottenham meanwhile have endured a poor season by their standards but are still in the mix for a top four finish come the end of the campaign. They sit 3 points behind Chelsea and have a Carabao Cup final on the horizon, but they will be doing all they can to get into the top 4 mix this term. Newcastle are in awful nick and Tottenham should see them off comfortably.
Betting tip: Tottenham to win the match ($1.67) Bet @ Sportsbet
Tottenham to win 2-0
Aston Villa vs Fulham – Villa Park
Aston Villa ($2.36)
Aston Villa host Fulham in what could be a huge game in the Cottagers season. Villa have been in excellent form this season and have defied early season expectations of a relegation scrap but in the absence of Jack Grealish, they have slipped down the table in recent weeks. They will be looking to finish season strongly however and play some excellent stuff at Villa Park. Fulham meanwhile have been resurgent in recent weeks and how find themselves just two points from safety. This could be a huge game in their season however and a draw would be an excellent result for Scott Parker’s men.
Betting tip: The match to finish as a draw ($3.4) Bet @ Sportsbet
Manchester United vs Brighton – Old Trafford
Manchester United ($1.67)
Manchester United will be looking to continue their push for a top 2 finish in the Premier League as they welcome Brighton. The reds bombed out of the FA Cup last time out but with the Europa League still to play for, it could be a fantastic end to the season for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men. They welcome a Brighton side that will still be buoyant from their superb win over Newcastle last time out and have now opened up a 6 point gap in the battle for survival. The Seagulls will see this as a complete free hit but Manchester United should have way too much about them in this one.
Betting tip: Manchester United to win the match ($1.67) Bet @ Sportsbet
Manchester United to win 3-1
Everton vs Crystal Palace – Selhurst Park
Crystal Palace ($5.25)
Everton will be looking to keep their top 4 hopes alive as they welcome a notoriously dangerous Crystal Palace side. The Toffees have lacked consistency in recent weeks but are still very much in the mix for a top 4 finish and are always capable of producing results when it matters. They take on a Crystal Palace side who have perked up in recent weeks but look to be content with a mid-table finish come the end of the campaign. This should be a very good game between two entertaining sides with Everton most likely to come out on top.
Betting tip: Everton to win the match ($1.85) Bet @ Sportsbet
Everton to win 3-1
Wolves vs West Ham United – Molineux
West Ham United ($2.63)
West Ham will be looking to continue their dream season as they travel to the West Midlands to take on Wolves. Host Wolves have struggled at times this season and the absence of Raul Jimenez has hampered them in recent months. They look to be settling for a mid-table finish this term and focusing on building momentum for next season. West Ham United meanwhile sit only two points outside of the race for a top 4 finish and have been in superb nick under David Moyes. The Hammers have made a habit out of getting big results in recent times and could pick up another big win here.
Betting tip: West Ham to win the match ($2.63) Bet @ Sportsbet
West Ham to win the match 2-1
