There is very much a top-two in the Premier League, with Arsenal and Manchester City really starting to edge away from the chasing pack.
The title remains Arsenal’s to lose heading into the final quarter of the season, but City certainly have the knowhow to haul them in.
Newcastle and Manchester United lead the chasing pack behind, whilst the likes of Tottenham, Liverpool and Chelsea are all floundering in their attempts to crack the top 4 this term.
At the bottom of the pile, it could not be tighter, with 8 sides in serious danger of dropping into the Championship next term.

Premier League Week 30 Predictions
—
Manchester United vs Everton – Old Trafford
Manchester United ($1.54)
Everton ($7.5)
Draw ($4.5)
Manchester United will be looking to keep battling for a top 4 finish, as they host lowly Everton. United overcame a very sticky patch in midweek, edging out Brentford and they will be looking to build upon that here. Everton meanwhile have picked up points in their last 4 games and they are starting to engineer a route to safety under Sean Dyche. This won’t be as open as some games, with Everton sure to make it tough but Manchester United should come out on top here.
Betting tip: Manchester United to win the match ($1.54)
Manchester United to win 2-0
Aston Villa vs Nottingham Forest – Villa Park
Aston Villa ($1.67)
Nottingham Forest ($5.8)
Draw ($4.2)
Aston Villa take on Nottingham Forest with Unai Emery’s side flying high in the Premier League table. Villa have been improving steadily in recent weeks and their 5-match unbeaten run has seen them climb up to 7th, very much in the mix for a European football slot at the end of the campaign. Nottingham Forest meanwhile are side in real trouble under Steve Cooper and they will be out to pick up points on the road here. This should be a very good game, with goals on the cards but Aston Villa should prevail at home.
Betting tip: Aston Villa to win the match ($1.67)
Aston Villa to win 3-1
Brentford vs Newcastle United – Gtech Stadium
Brentford ($3.75)
Newcastle United ($2.15)
Draw ($3.55)
Newcastle United travel to Brentford, looking to keep their Champions League hopes very much in their own hands. Brentford have been in superb nick all season but their defeat in midweek to Manchester United was tame and they will want to bounce back here. Newcastle meanwhile are purring after wins over Manchester United and West Ham United and how they would love to back that up here. Newcastle are in good form, and they could have too much for Brentford in this one.
Betting tip: Newcastle United to win the match ($2.15)
Newcastle United to win 2-1
Wolves vs Chelsea – Molineux
Wolves ($4.25)
Chelsea ($2.02)
Draw ($3.52)
Relegation threatened Wolves take on Chelsea, as Frank Lampard returns to Chelsea as interim manager. Wolves have lacked goals this season but remain a tough side to beat and they will want to take the game to Chelsea from the outset in this one. Chelsea meanwhile have a Champions League quarter final to look forward to but have been poor otherwise this term and they need to start picking up some results where possible. This will be a good game, but Chelsea should just get over the line.
Betting tip: Chelsea to win the match ($2.02)
Chelsea to win 2-1
Fulham vs West Ham United – Craven Cottage
Fulham ($2.8)
West Ham United ($2.8)
Draw ($3.35)
Fulham take on West Ham, with the Hammers immersed in a real relegation scrap. Fulham have punched above their weight this season but suspensions to key players threaten to spoil the end of their campaign. West Ham United meanwhile were thumped by Newcastle in midweek and will need a response here in a London derby of sorts. This should be an entertaining game and with very little to split the sides on paper, a draw could be on the cards.
Betting tip: The match to finish as a draw ($3.35)
1-1 Draw
Leicester City vs Bournemouth – King Power Stadium
Leicester City ($1.87)
Bournemouth ($4.4)
Draw ($3.9)
Managerless Leicester City will be looking for a response of sorts following the departure of Brendan Rodgers, as they take on Bournemouth. The Foxes have been poor this season and their league standing of 19th reflects just that. Bournemouth meanwhile have dug in throughout the campaign and they sit in 18th, in the drop zone on goal difference. This should be a very good game, with plenty to play for but Leicester should get the job done at home.
Betting tip: Leicester City to win the match ($1.87)
Leicester City to win 3-1
Tottenham vs Brighton – Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
Tottenham ($2.63)
Brighton ($2.75)
Draw ($3.67)
Tottenham take on Brighton in what could be a huge game in the respective seasons of both sides. Spurs are really struggling in their top 4 bid, with Antonio Conte bumped out of the door and they need to start picking up points soon. Brighton meanwhile have been one of the surprise packages of the season and they have a great chance of cracking the top 6, or potentially even higher. This could be one of the games of the weekend and whilst Brighton will have a real go, Spurs should edge this one.
Betting tip: Tottenham to win the match ($2.63)
Tottenham to win 2-1
Southampton vs Manchester City – St Mary’s Stadium
Southampton ($13)
Manchester City ($1.27)
Draw ($6.5)
Bottom placed Southampton take on Manchester City, in what is a huge game for both sides. Southampton are in danger of slipping away into the Championship this term, but they have enjoyed some good results against City at home in recent years. Manchester City meanwhile were in fine fettle in overcoming Liverpool last time out and they look to be gathering momentum as the Premier League season comes to an end. This will be loads tighter than the odds suggest, and it could be a shock draw of sorts on the south coast.
Betting tip: The match to finish as a draw ($6.5)
1-1 Draw
Leeds United vs Crystal Palace – Elland Road
Leeds United ($2.11)
Crystal Palace ($3.85)
Draw ($3.8)
Two more sides in relegation strife face off as Leeds United take on Crystal Palace. Leeds beat Nottingham Forest last time out to ease their immediate fears, but they have been struggling throughout the campaign and they will see this as another chance to pick up points. Crystal Palace meanwhile have Roy Hodgson back at the helm and they will want to secure their Premier League status as quickly as possible under the elder statesman. This will be a raucous one in Yorkshire, with a draw probably on the cards.
Betting tip: The match to finish as a draw ($3.8)
2-2 Draw
Liverpool vs Arsenal – Anfield
Liverpool ($2.87)
Arsenal ($2.5)
Draw ($3.8)
Champions-elect Arsenal travel to Liverpool, in what promises to be a real test of their credentials. Liverpool have been inconsistent this season but have seen off both Manchester clubs at home and could be up for this one at Anfield. Arsenal meanwhile have their Premier League title hopes very much in their own hands and a win here could see them stretch away from Manchester City even more this term. This should be a very good game, with Arsenal most likely to come out on top.
Betting tip: Arsenal to win the match ($2.5)
Arsenal to win 2-1
