With Manchester City getting the better of Arsenal weekend in the Premier League, it seems as if the title race will now go down to the wire.
Both sides will be chasing precious point and goals over the coming weeks, with both teams knowing that any slip ups could be costly.
With City distracted by the FA Cup this weekend, Arsenal have the chance to put distance between themselves and the blues, as they host Newcastle.
Down at the bottom of the pile, Wolves have been relegated, with Burnley looking set to join them in the Championship sooner rather than later.
Tottenham currently occupy the final place in the relegation zone and Spurs, along with Nottingham Forest, West Ham United and Leeds are in a real battle for survival.
Here are our Premier League tips for the week ahead:
Sunderland ($2.75)
Nottingham Forest ($2.70)
Draw ($3.80)
All eyes turn to Nottingham Forest and their survival bid, as they travel to the North East to take on Sunderland. A painful last gasp loss to Aston Villa will hurt have Sunderland last time out but they are sat pretty in mid table and will be basking in Premier League survival. For Forest, every game from here on in feels pivotal as they look to plot their route to safety, whilst negotiating their Europa League semi final against Aston Villa. This should be a good one and both sides may settle for the draw.
1-1 Draw
Fulham ($2.60)
Aston Villa ($2.60)
Draw ($3.70)
Champions League chasing Aston Villa will be looking to press on with their ambitions, as they travel to Fulham. The Cottagers have been in and around the conversation for Europe all season, but it looks as if they may come up short, with some tricky fixtures upcoming. Villa meanwhile dug deep to beat Sunderland last time out and they appear to have the big between their teeth with their Champions League ambitions. Both sides will go for this, but Villa could have the capacity to pick Fulham off.
Aston Villa to win 3-1
West Ham United ($2.50)
Everton ($2.88)
Draw ($3.50)
Struggling West Ham have been battling away in recent weeks and picking up points in the process, with a meeting with Everton awaiting next. The Hammers showed resolve to pick up a point against Crystal Palace last time out and confidence looks to be building within the camp. Everton meanwhile are digging in under David Moyes but their last gasp loss to Liverpool last time out is sure to hurt. This could be a cagey and tight encounter, with a draw looking favourite.
0-0 Draw
Liverpool ($1.50)
Crystal Palace ($6.50)
Draw ($4.75)
Winning late at Everton last weekend could give Liverpool the ideal confidence boost over the coming weeks, as they look to keep pace in the race for a top four finish here against Crystal Palace. The reds have endured a poor Premier League title defence and are facing a trophyless campaign, but they will be eager to finish it strongly. For Crystal Palace, this is a chance to have a real crack at one of the big boys and with big games in Europe upcoming, they should give the reds a real test in this one. Anfield is a tough place to go though, and Liverpool should win this one.
Liverpool to win 2-1
Wolves ($4.50)
Tottenham ($1.77)
Draw ($4.20)
Already relegated Wolves take on a Spurs side who are also seriously struggling, in what could be an epic encounter in the West Midlands. Wolves have found the going very tough all season and are now readying themselves for a campaign in the Championship next season. For Spurs, this feels like their lifeline game, as they drew with Brighton last weekend and they have to win here to have any chance of staying up. This will be tight and cagey, but Spurs could just about have enough quality to come through.
Tottenham to win 2-0
Arsenal ($1.50)
Newcastle United ($6.50)
Draw ($4.75)
Pressing on with their title tilt will be the key objective here for Arsenal, who came up short against Manchester City last week, but who continue to have their destiny in their own hands. Winning all five games left, by a decent margin would still see the Gunners as champions and they will be out for the kill here against Newcastle. Toon have been faltering hard in recent weeks and with Eddie Howe’s men having very little to play for, Arsenal should put them to the sword at home here.
Arsenal to win 4-1
Manchester United ($1.87)
Brentford ($4.00)
Draw ($4.00)
With Champions League qualification all but assured, Manchester United will be desperate to finish the season strongly, as they take on Brentford. United have endured a stop start campaign but if they manage to crack the top five, they will be relishing elite level Champions League football returning to the club next term. Brentford remain one of the best sides outside of the top five and they will be chasing a league double over the Red Devils. Both sides will fancy their chances here but United perhaps represent the best bet at home.
Manchester United to win 3-2
