The Premier League title race goes into the final day following big wins for Liverpool and Manchester City in the league last time out. With Liverpool and Tottenham reaching the Champions League final and Chelsea and Arsenal potentially to face off in the Europa League final – it is a real period of dominance in Europe for the Premier League and it all comes down to this weekend as to who is crowned the winner.
Here are our picks for the final round of fixtures in the Premier League:
Brighton vs Manchester City – AMEX Stadium
Manchester City ($1.18)
Manchester City have the title in their own hands as they travel to Brighton. A win will guarantee the blues back to back titles whilst any slip ups could be seized upon by Liverpool. Brighton secured safety last weekend with a draw at Arsenal and will want to finish in style here in front of their home fans. City meanwhile are 2 wins away from an unprecedented domestic treble but have only just been edging past sides in recent times and this could be another nail biter but Pep Guardiola’s men should get the win they need.
Betting tip: Manchester City to win the match ($1.18) – Bet Now
Manchester City to win 2-0
Burnley vs Arsenal – Turf Moor
Two sides looking to finish the season strongly meet in Lancashire as Burnley host Arsenal. The Clarets have improved massively during the second half of the season and their strong recent form has elevated them to 15th in the Premier League table and they look to have something to build upon next season. Arsenal haven’t won any of their last 4 Premier League games and have dropped out of top 4 contention as a result but have one foot in the Europa League final. They need to get back to winning ways and this should be an entertaining clash with Burnley sure to be difficult to break down at home.
Betting tip: The match to finish as a draw ($3.88) – Bet Now
Crystal Palace vs Bournemouth – Selhurst Park
Crystal Palace ($1.91)
Two sides with their sights on the beach face off as Crystal Palace host Bournemouth. Crystal Palace have enjoyed a strong second half of the season and have secured their Premier League status under Roy Hodgson and currently reside in 12th place with 46 points to their name. The Cherries have endured a tough second half to the season but have never been threatened by relegation and their 1-0 win over Tottenham last time out was a good way to end the season in front of their home fans. This could be a very close game between two well matched sides.
Betting tip: The match to finish as a draw and both teams to score ($5) – Bet Now
Fulham vs Newcastle – Craven Cottage
Relegated Fulham play their final Premier League home game as they host Newcastle, at Craven Cottage. Scott Parker has boosted Fulham in recent weeks, but their defeat to Wolves last time out will be something they are looking to bounce back from. Meanwhile, Newcastle meanwhile have shown real resolve in recent weeks – particularly at home and have defied the odds to secure their Premier League status for another season although the manner of their 3-2 defeat to Liverpool last time out will hurt them. Both of these sides could well use their squad players and a draw looks on the cards.
Betting tip: The match to finish as a draw and both teams to score ($4.6) – Bet Now
Leicester City vs Chelsea – King Power Stadium
Leicester City ($2.8)
Leicester will play their final home game in what has been a very difficult season against Chelsea. The Foxes have improved significantly under Brendan Rodgers in the Premier League and currently sit 9th despite their 1-0 defeat to Manchester City on Monday evening. Chelsea have secured Champions League football next season and could back that up with a Europa League final to boot. Maurizio Sarri will want to see his players finish the season in style but Leicester are a tough nut to crack and this could end up honours even in the East Midlands.
Betting tip: The match to finish as a draw and both teams to score ($4.45) – Bet Now
Liverpool vs Wolves – Anfield
Following their incredible 4-0 win over Barcelona, Liverpool will be hoping to make it another historic day on Merseyside as they host Wolves. If Manchester City win then the race is over but they need to win to capitalize on any slip up from Pep Guardiola’s men. Wolves picked up yet another result last time out, beating Fulham 1-0 to edge closer to securing 7th place in the Premier League and in contention for a Europa League place. The atmosphere will be electric at Anfield and the reds should get the job done and wait to hear how City get on.
Betting tip: Liverpool to win the match and both teams to score ($2.15) – Bet Now
Liverpool to win 3-1
Manchester United vs Cardiff City – Old Trafford
Manchester United ($1.25)
Cardiff City ($13)
Manchester United have missed out on the top 4 intensifies and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be hoping his side can generate some momentum going into next season. United have been poor in recent weeks – epitomised by their draw with Huddersfield and need a win to appease their fans. Cardiff saw their Premier League status slip away from them last time out as they lost to Crystal Palace. Neil Warnock spoke of his pride at his side’s efforts and he’ll be hoping to go out with a bang here. United however should have too much fire power for Cardiff at home.
Betting tip: Manchester to win the match to nil ($1.95) – Bet Now
Manchester United to win 2-0
Southampton vs Huddersfield Town – St Mary’s Stadium
Huddersfield Town ($9)
Southampton will be looking to finish the season on a high as they host Huddersfield Town. The Saints are clear of the drop zone but were disappointing in defeat to West Ham last time out. They will be hoping to keep their improved run of form going as they look to generate momentum going into next term. Relegated Huddersfield picked up an impressive 1-1 draw with Manchester United last time out. The Terriers have been rooted to the bottom of the table all season but will want to give their fans something to cheer in their final Premier League game. However, Southampton are a strong side at home and should pick up all three points here.
Betting tip: Southampton to win the match to nil ($1.85) – Bet Now
Southampton to win 2-0
Tottenham vs Everton – Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
Following their Champions League heroics, Tottenham host Everton with a top 4 finish secured – despite losing to Bournemouth last time out. Spurs have reached the Champions League final against Liverpool and that could prove to be a significant distraction here. Everton are set to finish in the top half of the Premier League table following an impressive finish to the season Marco Silva’s men have been strong, mainly at home and will want to build for next season. Tottenham have a lot on their plate currently and Everton could get something from what should be an entertaining game.
Betting tip: The match to finish as a draw and both teams to score ($4.85) – Bet Now
Watford vs West Ham United – Vicarage Road
West Ham United ($3.2)
An all-London clash concludes the season as Watford host West Ham. The Hornets have FA Cup final showdown with Manchester City to look forward to and need to find some form with that game on the horizon – having slipped down to 10th in the table following their 3-0 loss to Chelsea. The Hammers sit one place below Watford in 11th under Manuel Pellegrini and will still be looking to make it 3 wins from 3 following victories over Southampton and Tottenham. It has been a solid season for the both sides who will want to go out with a bang and it could well be honours even.
